(Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
① It is to make children into good citizens.
Parents have a responsibility to make their children good citizens. That's why parents do their best to make them grow up consistently. The heart of parents for their children is so desperate that it is pathetic. ② We must make them grow up to be believers.
“Teach your children diligently… Preach these words.” It is to raise children into godly believers. Therefore, religious education is necessary at an early age. No, it's important. In other words, the heart of childhood can become a believer or a non-believer depending on the atmosphere and environment. Children who have tasted the atmosphere of faith sometimes leave for a while, but come back. It doesn't completely fall over. The foundation of life is just that important.(…)
③ We must make them God's servants.
(…) “Healthy family, beautiful church” is our church goal and motto. When the family is healthy, the church is also healthy. When the church is reconciled, the family can learn peace. The home is the church within the house, and the church is the home outside the home. Not only children but also adults do not grow up just by eating. It is not what you eat that turns into flesh and blood. It is necessary to practice exercise to become tendons and healthy muscles. In verse 8 of the text, it says, “Tie the word of God on your wrist as a sign, put it on your forehead as a mark, and write it on a doorpost for teaching.”(…)
