Title: Teacher's Crown (Philippians 4:1~3)

Contents

“I have been appointed proclaimer, apostle and teacher for the sake of the gospel” (2 Timothy 1:11), speaking of the Philippian saints whom he taught and raised, “My beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, beloved, !” tells us how to do the work of a true teacher, and the result of the work of a teacher is to receive a “crown”.

First, the teacher's job is to make a crown.

① “...My joy and crown, my dear ones,” means that the work of a teacher who teaches and nurtures spiritual people is a blessing in making his own crown. ② Therefore, in 1 Peter 5:4, when the chief shepherd appears to those who take good care of God’s flock, “they will receive the crown of glory that never fades”. Blessed is the one who gives and nurtures him well when he comes as a wise man, and the Lord will entrust all he has to him. ③ The crown is the highest reward and glory, and the crown received through teaching is eternal glory, reward, wealth, and honor.

Second, a teacher's crown is made of a victorious life.

① A crown is the glory received by those who become victors, first people, and kings in battles or competitions. ② Therefore, everyone who competes for victory is temperate in all things, because they want to win a corruptible crown, but we want to win an incorruptible crown (1 Corinthians 9:25). ③ Therefore, we gain victory through temperance and win a crown, and temperance is the proper management and adjustment of ourselves and all things related to ourselves in order to fulfill God’s will. ④ You have to overcome two things through temperance, but you have to overcome yourself and those outside yourself. In order to succeed as a teacher, one must overcome one's self-interest, neglect, and hardship, and overcome one's environment and the devil who deceives.

Third, a teacher's crown is made of a life of love and longing.

① My dear brothers and sisters... Beloved, as he said, it was his passionate love for their souls that Paul raised the Philippians to be men of God. ② True education and nurture are done only with passionate love. Therefore, when he entrusted his children to Peter on earth, he asked three times, “Do you love me?” After confirming, he entrusted him and ascended to heaven. ③ Jochebed, who was a slave, raised Moses as a patriot with a passionate love for God, the Son, and the people, and raised him as a leader who liberates his people. ④ God nourishes us with the love that gave us his only begotten Son and the love that was sacrificed on the cross. ⑤ They are also raised with longing. Paul's thoughts and hearts always had the Philippians. You should always nurture your own sheep in your own thoughts and hearts. ⑥ Even when the body is away, the mind and the mind must always be together. ⑦ Therefore, “set your heart on your herd” (Proverbs 27:23).

Fourth, a teacher's crown is made through prayer life.

① Those who love and adore their sheep always pray for their own sheep. ② Each sheep in charge should be raised by prayer, discussing it with the Lord, asking the Lord, and working together with the Lord in prayer. ③ You must pray that the Lord will always protect you so that you can eat well and grow well.

Fifth, the teacher's crown is made of management, recommendation and teaching life.

① “Examine the condition of your flocks diligently” (Proverbs 27:23), as the saying goes, Israeli shepherds identify the individuality and weakness of each of their flocks and manage them as experts in their own sheep. ② Teachers must raise their sheep with meticulous care.

Sixth, a teacher's crown is made of loyalty.

① My beloved and longing brothers... In one cry, you can see that I put all my heart and soul into nurturing the Philippians to save them from the chains of evil and evil spirits. ② Jesus sacrificed all of Him to save His elect. ③ There is nothing more precious than the spiritual education project of cultivating spiritual people. ④ Therefore, after the Holy Trinity only did this business and the seniors of all faiths, Peter, John, and Paul, knew Jesus, they all made this business their main business and invested all of them.
