There is one more thing we will look at in this text today. Joseph overcame this temptation and eventually did not sin. What was the result? Yes, as you well know, it ended up being framed and going to jail. Seriously, how miserable must Joseph have been? Even though I lived hard in a distant country and tried not to sin before God... I might have resented God. How hard would it be? But, in fact, this is often the case in the world. If you have the power, you can fake things upside down like this.
In any case, there is something we need to look at throughout Chapter 39. First of all, the most important characters here are Joseph and his master's wife. Actually, Joseph only talks about two verses 8-9, and the woman says four or five verses 14-18, all of which are "Frauding Joseph." And here is one conclusive piece of evidence that Joseph is framed!
what? Yes. clothes. In verses 12-18, "clothes" appears six times. Oddly enough, Joseph's life is so closely related to his clothes! 1) The clothes he wore, loved by his father since he was a child: The famous "colored clothes" 2) But how are the clothes used? Yes, the brothers took off the clothes, tore them, put goat blood on them, and used them as evidence to deceive their father. So the father knew that Joseph had been torn to death by an animal. 3) By the way, in today's text, his clothes are used as evidence that his master's wife deceives Joseph's master!
So, are you well dressed? no! No matter how you look at it, the clothes that Joseph has been wearing so far do not seem to conform to God's will at least. 1) “Colored clothes” that symbolize father’s love. Ultimately, he deceives his father and makes him sad. 2) Even clothes that have gained the trust of their master Potiphar also deceive and make him sad. What clothes did God put on for later use? "Egypt's Prime Minister's Clothing" What are you wearing now? Was it the clothes God put on for us? In other words, I want you to think carefully about whether God has placed you in this position to use you.
May you always win with this faith and this step...
