Title: Test Yourselves (2 Corinthians 13:5)
Contents Kofu consists of 13 chapters.
Paul now gives his final exhortation in this chapter.
'Test yourselves whether you are in the faith, and prove yourselves.
Do you not know that Jesus Christ is in you, otherwise you are rejected.'
We cannot do anything against the truth.
The truth is the word of God (John 17:17). The people of the Exodus class made and worshiped idols of calves in the wilderness and aroused the wrath of God. Moses threw the two stone tablets of the covenant and ground the idols to dust. At that time, the word of the covenant had not yet been heard by the people. When the people had no word, they did what they thought was good. However, things changed after the law was given.
It is the responsibility of obeying God's word and living.
The Word of God is that we must love the Lord God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and also love our neighbor as ourselves. After receiving these teachings, people had to practice them. (Mt 22:37-38)
Ask yourself these questions and try to answer them yourself!
Do I really believe in God? Do I believe that God loves me and gives my only begotten Son? Do I believe that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, guides my life?
Let's remember Paul's confession whether faith controls all or part of my life. (Galatians 2:20) 'I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
Now that I live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
We must imitate Paul, who boasted in Jesus and lived only for Jesus (1 Corinthians 11:1). This is the joy and happiness of those who live in faith.
