Sermons for Preaching

Title [2010] Testify of Spiritual Experience

Contents

(Acts 10:38)

The most precious person in heaven and earth is Jesus, who was only begotten in the bosom of God. Only Jesus has the true life (eternal life). Only Jesus has forgiveness (forgiveness of sins), salvation (a citizen of heaven), power (the power of healing), and true love of giving himself to the cross. The invisible God can only be seen through Jesus (John 14:9). When this precious Jesus came to this world, he was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18), and when he was baptized in the Jordan River before his public ministry, the Holy Spirit fell on his head like a dove (Matthew 3 :16), and he spent 40 days in the wilderness to prepare for his public life. Even when he prayed, he was led by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 4:1). During his public life, he spoke with the Holy Spirit, cast out demons with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:28), healed the sick with the Holy Spirit, and rejoiced with the Holy Spirit (Luke 10:21).

Jesus lived a normal life until God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and power. Because he emptied himself and came in the form of a servant, he lived just like that (Philippians 2:7). But during his public life, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil” (Acts 10:38). If Jesus needs the anointing of the Holy Spirit, how much more do we need? That is why Jesus also said John 14:16-18;26, 15:26, John 16:7 “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; unless I go away, the Comforter will not come to you; I will send him to you.” Verse 13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth (John 14:17, 14:6, 17:17, 8:32)” Therefore, believers must receive the Holy Spirit who is truth. Faith that has received the Holy Spirit is different from faith that has not received the Holy Spirit. There are three main types of faith, and the faith in the flesh, faith in the soul, and faith in the spirit are different.
