Title: Testimonies of the Shepherds
Luke 2:14, 20 ‘14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom God is pleased.
20. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, as it was said to them.”

Because Jesus Christ was born as a man and his achievements were great or because he was resurrected, he did not become like God. He was originally God the Son, but he came as a man. It is not that man became God, but that God became man. John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
After hearing the news of the Savior's birth delivered by the angels, and after confirming the birth of the baby as they had told them, they glorified God and glorified God between the texts, Luke 2:17 "When they saw it, they told them what the angel had told them about this child...

I would like to share a sermon with the title of <The testimony of the shepherds>.
1. I heard the message of peace through an angel
There were many scribes, scribes, and high priests at that time, but an angel delivered the heavenly message to the shepherds who were not special occupations. This means that there was no God's revelation, God's will for those with religious reputation at the time. The shepherds heard the news,
Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom God is pleased.”
The fact that the birth of Christ came for those whom God was pleased with, in other words, the fact that He came to bring true peace to those who receive it by faith. The Hebrew word for peace, eijrhvnh, is shalom (!wOlv), and it is the ultimate goal of salvation and the sentiment of the kingdom of God. Those who believe in Jesus as their Savior will be set free from sin and have eternal life, and will live in peace in the eternal kingdom.
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you…Do not be troubled, do not be afraid.”
2. I told you what I heard and saw
The shepherds unwittingly saw an angel and heard the tidings of peace through the Savior's birth. And just as the angel had told him, he went straight to the place where Christ was born, confirmed it, glorified God, and testified in verse 18. Depending on what we hear and see in our lives, we learn and resemble each other. If we encounter an event that is too big, it becomes news and events that the world needs to know are broadcast at the national level.
When we say that we have personally come to Christ in our hearts and have received salvation and wonderful spiritual peace, we have to listen like shepherds and share the confirmed facts. That is, the confession of faith and the heart of evangelism will arise.
Philippians 4:9 “Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen of Me, and the God of peace will be with you.”
Leviticus 5:1 “If anyone hears a curse, but becomes a witness and does not tell what he has seen or knows, he must bear his own sin, and his transgression will be on him.”
So the Apostle Paul expressed a strong sense of duty to preach the gospel,
1 Corinthians 9:16 He even said, “If I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, because it is something I must do. If I do not preach the gospel, woe to me.”
Through the Bible, which is a revelatory product, God wrote and delivered Jesus Christ in detail, and now, through the 2,000-year history of Christianity, he has even shown numerous evidences, but believers have no choice but to tell it.
The shepherds received the revelation of an angel, but now that we have received the revelation of the fully written Bible, we have confirmed, we have believed, and we have been moved to receive spiritual peace, so we deserve to live a life that bears witness to this wonderful news of salvation. is.
I pray that all of us will become shepherds now, and I and you will plant the glory of God and peace in the earth by living the lives of witnesses who continue the witnesses of the shepherds.
