Title: Thank God!
Contents
Give thanks to Jehovah. (Isa 12:4)
The first and last language of the saved is thanksgiving.
Gratitude and the life of faith can be said to be one. If you do not have gratitude, you are not living a life of faith; if you are living a life of faith, you are living a life of gratitude.
God commanded the Israelites to keep the feasts - the Passover, the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), and the Feast of Ingathering (the Feast of Tabernacles). All of these feasts are related to thanksgiving.
It is to be thankful for the salvation that God has done, for protecting us from the harsh environment, and for providing us with food.
(Example) Thanks from Dr. Young-Woo Kang
Dr. Young-Woo Kang went blind at the age of 14 and lost his parents and older sister, but he did not resent God or despair. He looked at himself with compassion, hoping for human sympathy, and did not wish for the comfort of shallow waters. As I decided to go out to the wide and deep sea with thanks to God, I experienced that dreams and hopes came true, and the road to blessings was opened in my life.
After graduating from Yonsei University, he went to the United States to study, earning a master's degree in education and psychology, and a doctorate in educational administration, becoming the first blind doctor in Korea.
“Everyone in my family has become great people because of my blindness. Really, my real name is God's
It was a blessing. My wife studied disability education because of me and became an expert, and my eldest son
Became an ophthalmologist to fix my eyes and my younger son helped me write my speeches
I became a good writer and became a lawyer. My real name is a great blessing to my family
It has been.”
Let us give thanks in faith even when we cannot be thankful.
Job lost all his possessions and all ten of his beloved children in one day.
Nevertheless, Job did not complain to God, and he was not satisfied with the comfort of his friends or his wife, but he thanked and praised God.
Job 1:20-22 Job arose and tore his cloak and shaved his head, and fell to the ground to worship.
21 And he said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the LORD gave and the LORD took away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
22 In all these things, Job did not sin, and he did not grumble against God.
God's people are rather blessed through hardship.
Let's praise God while looking at God who works together for good when the environment is difficult.
Because of Haman, Mordecai became more honorable, and Israel had a better environment.
Because of his brothers, Joseph was initially sold into slavery, but instead he became prime minister of Egypt.
Don't be discouraged by your enemies and problems, but let's give thanks in faith as we look to God who will accomplish good through them.
