Title: Thank You for God's Grace

Content Fragment-->

Let's give thanks for God's grace (Psalm 65:1-13)

Dear saints! In Psalm 65, David thanked God for the grace he had bestowed upon him and sang praises. This morning, I would like to share the sermon with the title, “Let's give thanks for God's grace!” while examining the text.

I. divine grace

First, God's choice is grace. Verse 4 “The Lord chose me” It is a wonderful grace that God has specially chosen me from among the many people over 6.5 billion in this world. Ephesians 1:4 What does 'choose us in Christ before creation' mean? This means that you have chosen unconditionally. I took the college entrance exam on the 13th. Each university selects students to study at their own university by evaluating them based on the CSAT score, academic record, and essay test scores. However, what kind of test and evaluation did we become God's choice and God's children? The Bible says that we were chosen before creation. He chose us before we were even born into this world. The condition of being chosen is not in myself. It is purely in God. It is in the will of God. Therefore, the choice is the grace of God.

Second, God's calling is grace. In verse 4, “He brought me near” is what God called and brought him near. It speaks of the grace of God's calling. No one can come to God unless God calls them. It is grace to live in the courts of the Lord. It is a blessing to have them live in the house of the Lord, the temple. It is a blessing to live a life of faith without leaving the church. How many pits of sin are there in this world? How grateful are you to receive God's call and worship in the Lord's house at this time?

Third, the grace of God's atonement is grace. All human beings are sinners (Romans 3:10). All human misery is due to sin. No one can solve this problem of sin, which is the cause of unhappiness. God sent Jesus Christ to solve the problem of human sin. God took on flesh and came into this world. Jesus Christ took on all our sins (Isaiah 53:6). He took on the sins of the past, the sins of the present, and the sins of the future. David also committed many sins. Verse 3 says, “You will forgive our transgressions.” It says that our sins are forgiven. When the problem of sin is resolved, the meaning of suffering changes. Even death is a blessing. Thank you for receiving the grace of atonement through Jesus Christ.

Fourth, the answer to prayer is grace. Verse 2 says, “O Lord of our prayers, all flesh will come to you.” It means that God hears our prayers. How great is the grace that we can come to God and pray? Being able to pray to God This is a privilege God gives to His children. The Bible promises that if God's children pray, God will answer them. This promise is God's promise to me and you. Thank you for the promise of answering prayers. I pray that you will hold on to this promise and pray that you will receive an answer.

II. Grace in real life

Second, the blessing of a bountiful harvest is given. This year is also a bountiful year in Korea. There was no typhoon. Rice farming, fruits and vegetables are all bountiful years. It has been a prosperous year for decades. Thank you so much. In rural areas, rice is plowed because the yield is high and the purchase price of rice is low. This little Korean peninsula! In 30-40 minutes on Tongil-ro, North Korea is across from the Unification Observatory. Every year is a famine. This year is a bad year. But in this land, it is such a bountiful year. This is God's grace. God's blessing. I am truly grateful.

Dear all! I hope this year's Thanksgiving will be a time to give thanks for God's grace and blessings. You will be grateful for God's divine grace We will be thankful for the grace of choice, the grace of calling, the grace of atonement, the grace of answering prayers, and the grace that is given to us in our real life. I would like to thank God for blessing our living environment and for giving us a bountiful harvest this year as well.
