Title: Thank You for the Grace
Contents
Give thanks to the Lord. He is good, and his mercy endures forever. You who have been saved by the Lord, all who have been saved from the hand of the enemy, give thanks to the Lord. From the east, west, north and south, all you have gathered, give thanks to the Lord. Some were lost in the desert of the wilderness, and could not find their way to the inhabited city, and some were hungry and thirsty, and some were exhausted. But when they cried out to the Lord in their affliction, the Lord delivered them from their afflictions and set them on the right path, leading them into inhabited cities. Give thanks for the mercy of the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord for His wonderful salvation to people. The Lord gave the thirsty man plenty to drink and the hungry man full of good food (Psalm 107:1-9).
Today is Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving Day, which began in September 1620, when the Puritans who came to the American continent in search of freedom of faith and conscience from England gave thanks to God with the first grain, has become a festival of worship celebrated by most of the world today. However, this Thanksgiving worship service has already been offered in the Bible from the Old Testament era, that is, from the beginning of agricultural culture, to any ethnic group and even if the form is different, the spirit has been offered with the same meaning. We, too, give thanks to God who has given us ripe grains in our fertile soil today. And we must express our deepest gratitude to the farmers who put in their hard work to plant, nurture, and harvest this single grain.
Gratitude is originally linked to the concept of grace. The literal meaning of the word grace in the Bible is 'free gift'. Therefore, if we are to be truly grateful, we must first feel deeply that this harvest we have received is a gift from God. Although we often say that hard work is rewarded, it is an expression to emphasize human responsibility and duty, but it is not. All grains on our table are primarily seeds and farmers' hard work, but we cannot ignore the fact that they have natural benefits. Digging deeper, even young students know that water, sunlight, soil, and a suitable climate are more than just a farmer's efforts to produce a single fruit.
Strictly speaking, even human beings are not the result of their efforts from birth to growth, and their entire life. The grain we have harvested, and all that we have, the most fundamental, is a gift of grace, which we have been given, free of charge, not from our own efforts. Of course, parents, friends, and children were all just received without payment. Christianity describes this as the grace of God in one word. Therefore, today we give thanks to God who gave our land and to God who gave us a good neighbor and a free society. No matter how expensive we go to the market, we will never be as happy as when we received a gift, if not expensive, from a loved one.
When human beings have this view of life that they live by receiving their entire existence from God, or from their parents, teachers, and neighbors, it is only there that they begin to feel gratitude and emotion for life. And I find that that gift, the grain of rice on our table, and the farmers who made it, or even my time, knowledge, wisdom, skill, and even my whole being, are of absolute value to me. Today, at a time when the value of human existence is declining and money is becoming a mammon, and in this age of dehumanization, if we really try to find the value of a person, this being will receive the gift of life from God. It should be cherished and cherished. The gift will be found only on faith. Maybe some people tell me what grace is when I earn a living and live on my own. When I was young and young, I only complained and resented my poor parents, "What did my father and mother do for me?" But today, as I mature, I come to know the thoughts and gifts of my parents and teachers.
The evidence of human maturity is knowing and being moved by grace. Without the emotion of grace, it is clear evidence that the person is still in a mentally childish state. Mature human beings know grace as grace and know how to be grateful. We claim that today's modern age is a mature generation. To become a mature person of the mature generation, there must be a life of gratitude as the evidence. On the other hand, many people who have suffered misfortunes in the past year, those who have lost loved ones, or those who have lost their property or health, may have no other title of gratitude than resentment rather than thinking about what to give thanks for this Thanksgiving. However, as I walked through the valley of graduation through the adversity of life, I learned and learned the noble truth of life that I lost but cannot be replaced with money or anything else. Every human being is a body that eventually returns to a handful of dust, but the truth of the immortal and incorruptible good human being, and the clearer, brighter, newer, and deeper teaching of the true way of soul and soul, will experience a more splendid decoration only because of the countless sufferings. has been
We see the traces of that hardship there, holding a single fruit and going through so many trials and tribulations in the winds and winds before it came to fruition. However, just as the life that ripens in the seed contains the next buds and flowers in it, we will see the growth of our inner human being, who thrives in the midst of adversity of hardship. That is why the Apostle Paul said that he rejoices and gives thanks even in the midst of suffering, and exhorts us to give thanks in everything. The reward of grace is a life of gratitude, and the expression of gratitude should be marked by a life of consecration that seeks to repay the grace. The worship of thanks we give to God today is one of those expressions, but true worship of thanks means that we spend our entire lives being moved by God's grace, parents' grace, teacher's grace, country's grace, and neighbor's grace. It is the attitude of the life you give to repay it. The life of paying back even one tenth of the grace we have received is the right worship of thanksgiving. Let's say "Thank you. Thank you" in all our greetings, and let's live our entire lives in a way that overflows with gratitude and gratitude. Then we will have a subject to be thankful for over and over again for the rest of our lives.
?쏡o not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God??(Philippians 4:6). We should always be thankful. Because gratitude makes a happy life. The happiest person is the person who can be thankful for everything under any circumstances.
