Grateful ministers (Colossians 3:12-17)
Thanksgiving is here again this year.
At this time of year, there are people who feel the burden of donations.
If you are not a farmer, you may not find the meaning of thanksgiving.
The true meaning of thanksgiving that God wants is that it is about giving a bountiful harvest.
Don't just think of it as an answer.
1. Thank you for meeting our needs.
Not only food, clothing, shelter, but also everything we need in life
Thanks be to God who fills us.
In 1620, 102 Puritans fled England to escape religious persecution.
Arrived in New World America. Thanksgiving Day, the 53 surviving people, after twists and turns
In November of the following year, after the harvest, we worshiped God.
We can thank God for providing for our needs in the most painful situations.
The people who were there built America the best in the world.
2. Gratitude for helping us in our weakness.
Without God's help for even a moment, we cannot live a perfect life.
“He made the God of Jacob his help, and he gave the LORD his God
Blessed is he who has hope” (Psalm 146:5).
Working together for good for us who are weak (Romans 8:28),
Finally, he gives blessings (Deuteronomy 8:6) and justice rains down (Hos 10:12).
thanks to God.
3. Thank you for recognizing us.
The ministers called by God (Colossians 3:15) are to God and men.
You must be recognized as a wonderful person of peace.
A handsome person is different depending on the point of view
First, they are faithful in their work (Numbers 12:7, Proverbs 25:13, Matthew 24:45, Matthew 25:23, 1 Corinthians 4:2, Revelation 2:10).
Second, he is meek toward all people (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, Proverbs 15:1, Proverbs 25:15).
Third, he is a self-controlled person (1 Corinthians 9:25, Gal 5:23, 1 Timothy 3:2, 2 Peter 1:6-8). ‘Temperance’ can be defined as “managing God’s blessings (appetite, sexual desire, desire) in accordance with God’s will”.
4. Thank you for blessing us.
If you do not receive blessings through not giving thanks (Jeremiah 5:24-25), from now on
We should give thanks to God according to the grace we have received and the measure we have received.
Gratitude is not necessarily expressed only through material things.
Singing a new song every day in your life, bearing new fruit every month
All you have to do is become a holy living sacrifice acceptable to God and offer a sacrifice of thanks.
Bless us, supply us in time of need, help us in our weakness,
To God who recognized him as a minister of God and allowed him to participate in the great work of God.
We must give thanks with our hearts, our bodies, and our material things.
