Title: The 5 lives that the incarnation challenges
5 life challenges of incarnation
(Isaiah 9:1-7)
1. A life of obedience
Jesus came to this earth in obedience to the will of God. The obedience of not only Jesus but also Mary and Joseph played a major role. When Mary heard that she would conceive as a virgin and give birth to a son, she obeyed, saying, “I am the maidservant of the Lord, let it be done to me according to your word.” Joseph, when he found out that his betrothed wife was pregnant, was troubled at first, but told him to take her and make her his wife. I obeyed God's command. Ultimately, the incarnation is the fruit of obedience.
The biggest crisis in our country today is the crisis of lack of leadership. Could the lack of leadership be due to the lack of capable leaders? But even if there is a capable leader, it is of no use if there is no capable obedience. Of course, we cannot obey unconditionally what is ‘wrong’. However, you should try to practice obedience with the basic ground of obedience to 'something else' that is not 'wrong'. At that time, God's blessing and people's recognition and respect will not detract from him.
2. A life of dedication
The incarnation of Almighty God is a concrete and great devotion of God. God did not only love with words, but with His body. You must have such a concrete devotion in your life of faith. The life of faith must not end with knowing and not only with words. When Jesus was born, the Pharisees and the scribes knew the place where he was born, but only the wise men from the East actually ran to Jesus.
God's grace can be given concretely only when faith does not end with thoughts and knowledge and goes beyond devotion. What did the wise men from the East run to do before the Lord? "Lord! We ran to the Lord first, so give us plenty of grace!”? no. They worshiped the baby Jesus and opened the treasure chest and offered gifts. It seems the most foolish to unbelievers, but in fact, it is the most blessed. One important thing to experience in life is that when you give, your life becomes richer, warmer, and happier.
3. Understanding Life
God revealed God through various channels such as the Bible, history, conscience, and environment in the Old Age of Music. However, because human understanding is limited, we cannot understand God in detail, so He incarnated Himself and revealed Himself through human form so that we can understand God well. Furthermore, he personally experienced human death and suffering and understood our suffering. As such, the incarnation strongly challenges the ‘life of understanding’.
Everyone has a different bowl. So please acknowledge each other's thoughts and styles. When we have such an understanding of the incarnation, true leadership will come out. A royal priesthood should seek peace with royal understanding. In particular, the peace of the church is a decisive factor in the blessing and happiness of the saints. When fighting in the church, even the characters become snobs. Therefore, avoid fighting as much as possible. If you get caught up in a fight in the church, or if the church is clearly going astray and there is no repentance, it is better to leave the church, giving up all property rights, honor, rights, and even memories. It is not avoidance or defeat. There is no avoidance or defeat in a life that moves within the will of God.
4. Lighted Life
The era when Jesus was born was the era of peace in Pax-Romana, where peace was maintained by Roman power. However, in Judea alone, it was a period of darkness due to the dictator Herod. In such a dark age, Jesus incarnated and shone the light. So, don't blame the times too much for being dark, and don't say that you were born in the wrong era. There is a mysterious will of God that brought us into such a time. You must live according to that will, radiating light in your own place and circumstances.
In particular, we must do our best to save souls. Now that it is difficult to evangelize with words alone, we must become people and bring them into the Gospel with influence and influence. So, you have to work hard with the character's dream and vision. The greatest purpose of God's salvation and calling is to save our souls. At a time when more and more anglers are fishing for their souls to fill their stomachs, become a fisher of life who saves souls and practices sharing in the shadows.
5. Love Life
God is so great and great that even the entire universe cannot fill it. Such God was born as a baby in a small manger in Bethlehem. Why did you do that? Because of God's infinite love. If you realize the love and grace of God and have a heart of gratitude and love, God will come to the manger of your heart and will always be with you. Love becomes richer the more you do it, and the poorer you don't do it. After all, love is the greatest force on earth that enriches the soul.
There is one thing that world-class tenors have consistently picked as the secret to being good at singing. It was 'to love'. It is said that if you do not have love or do not know love, the color of your voice will die. After all, the biggest problem in life is the lack of love. What day is Christmas? Christmas is the day when God lowered his gaze because he loved people and became a man like the object he loved. The greatest love in the world is to ‘be like the object you love’.
