The Appearance of the Antichrist (Revelation 6)
The prophecy of the Book of Revelation consists of 7 people, 7 trumpets, and 7 bowls of disaster. The important thing is how you interpret the first seal of Revelation 6:1,2, 'the rider on a white horse', will lead the entire interpretation of the book of Revelation.
1. The first sure sign of the last days is the advent of the Antichrist
Classification of the Book of Revelation
1) Introduction Chapters 1-5 are for the preparation of prophecy.
2) This is the actual content of the prophecy in chapters 6-18 of the main body.
3) Conclusion Chapters 19-22 This is the end of the fulfillment of the prophecy that will take place on the earth and thereafter.
The rider on the white horse is an antichrist
First, it is Jesus Christ Himself who opens the first seal in context.
Revelation 5:5 As one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep, for the lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, and will open the book and its seven seals.”
6:1 “I saw, and at the same time that the Lamb was breaking one of the seven seals, I heard one of the four living creatures speaking like thunder, saying, Come.”
1) The rider on a white horse had a bow, but Jesus had a sword (sword).
Revelation 1:16 “In his right hand there were seven stars, and out of his mouth a two-edged sword went out, and his face was like the powerfully shining sun.”
Revelation 19:15 "A sharp sword comes out of his mouth, with which he will strike against the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, and he will tread the molds of the wine of the fierce wrath of God the Almighty."
2) Jesus is the one who gives us the crown.
Revelation 2:10 '...Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.'
3) The original word for 'crown' is also the crown of the victor obtained by fighting with Stephanos, and the 'crown' that Jesus used in Revelation 19:12 is diademata.
4) The rider on the white horse keeps winning and trying to win, but Jesus has already been described as the overcomer. He is a complete victor by his resurrection.
John 16:33 “I am saying these things to you, that you may have peace in me. In the world you will have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.”
Revelation 5:5 "One of the elders said to me, "Do not weep, for the lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, and will open the book and its seven seals."
The etymology of the word 'because you have won', Enikesen, refers to the one who has already won through Nikkao's family, skill, and indicative method.
5) Revelation 13:5, 'And the beast received loud speeches and blasphemous words, and authority was given for forty-two months'
If we view Revelation 13 as the midpoint of the 7-year great tribulation, we should view it as the story of the great tribulation from chapter 6, when the book of revelation was opened. Therefore, the first seal must be the Antichrist.
Dan 7:25 “He will speak words against the Most High and afflict the saints of the Most High, and he will seek to change times and laws, and the saints will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. lira'
Dan 9:27 “He will make a covenant with many for one week, and in half the week he will forbid sacrifices and offerings, and the abominations and abominations will stand on their wings, until the end that is already set. 'Wrath will be poured out on the desolator.'
6) Looking at the prophecies of the last days in other places in the Bible, it is said that the antichrist will appear first in the early days of the great tribulation.
Matthew 24:3-4 "When Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him in silence, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?" Be careful not to be deceived by anyone.”
Luke 21:8-12 He said, “Be careful not to be deceived. Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he, and the hour is at hand.’ But do not follow them…”
7) The place that clearly shows the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is Revelation chapter 19. No comment is needed, just reading will reveal the fact that it is the Second Coming of the Lord.
2. The Antichrist Appears with the Appearance
1) A great war breaks out (4)
In the third and fourth seals, the 'Red Horse Rider' brings peace to the earth through a great war, and it is said that he was 'permitted' to do this evil thing. The devil torments people within the limits of God's permission.
Job 1:12 "And the LORD said to Satan, "All that he has I have put into your hand; but you must not put your hand on him; Satan immediately withdrew from the presence of the LORD."
The 'red horse' symbolizes the great war ('big sword').
With the advent of the Antichrist, there will be a great war in the world.
2) Famine is coming (6)
Wars have always naturally brought economic airports.
5-6, I had a 'scale in my hand'. Having the scales here symbolizes a very famine. It is said that 'one denarius' was the daily wage of a soldier at the time. It is a prophecy that an economic airport will come where you can only buy one dollar of wheat or one stone of barley with that money.
'Do not harm olive oil and wine', grapes do not always mean saints. Especially since I said that this is wine, not grapes, I am not a saint.
Wine is wine, and olive oil is a cosmetic ingredient, meaning that you will be drunk with sin and lust even in the midst of tribulation. It is also the mercy of God that enables us to live our daily basic lives.
Because the olive oil and wine commodities do not necessarily contribute to sin. In these difficult times, expensive alcohol and cosmetics are being sold, and despite these economic difficulties, they are getting married as predicted of the end-time phenomenon, but there is a saying that it costs 100 million recently. It is indeed an ironic fact.
3) death
7-8, 'The rider on a blue-yellow horse' This is death.
'Hell followed them', and Hades means death in a dark and dark place where everyone goes when they die. On the other hand, Gehenna (Matthew 23:33) is used for the word for hell meaning place.
It means that Jesus, who has the key of Hades in Revelation 1:18, has overcome the power of death. The Lord is risen from the dead.
'Blue-yellow' is the color of a corpse, and the rider on the horse killed people with swords (slaughter, war), famine and death (epidemic), and beasts of the earth. It is said that a person riding a blue-yellow horse will gain 'authority over a quarter of the earth' and cause tribulation. That's great power.
4) There will be many martyrs of the saints (9)
Because the antichrist's sign is Christian believers, many saints will die.
9-10, 'God's Word and the evidence we have' are the martyred souls, including the prophets of God. 'Those who dwell on the earth' are unbelievers of this world.
It was used to mean 'judgment and vindication of our blood', claiming just rights. It is definitely a sound waiting for a religious victory, not a murderous hatred of the enemy.
11, the 'white robe' symbolizes victory and holiness. It says to be patient in hope for 'a little while'. 'Comrades, Servants and Brothers' This is the 'number' that the martyrs also set.
Romans 11:25 “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brethren, so that you may not be wise in yourselves, which is that Israel has hardened in part, until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in.”
Matthew 20:23 He said, "Surely you will drink of my cup, but it is not mine to give them to sit at my left or right, but for whomever my Father has prepared, they will receive."
5) celestial changes
12, When you open the sixth seal, there will be a 'great earthquake' and a great earthquake in the last days.
To say 'the sun turns black like a gunpowder' is a state in which the light is lost due to war and pollution, or because the heat of the sun itself cools down. The general is a Jewish mourning garment woven in black linen. The moonlight has no choice but to dim, and the 'blood' light gets darker.
When the Lord was returning to the cross, the earth suddenly shook and the sun lost its light and it was dark. These curses will add to the environment caused by the wars of the last days.
13, 'Stars in the sky' are interpreted spiritually as the fall of God's servants (stars), but we believe that the prophecies of these heavenly bodies will come true literally.
Matthew 24:29 “In that day, after the tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”
14-15, 'Disappearing like a piece of paper is curled up' means that like a scroll, the current sky will burn and fly away like a paper rolled up.
2 Peter 3:12 “Look forward to the coming of the day of God, and yearn for it, for in that day it will be burned up and dissolved, and the elements will be melted with scorching fire.”
It was a great earthquake that 'each mountain and island' moved, and they fled 'hidden in caves and rocks in the mountains'.
16-17, The act of hiding, the act of escaping is the act that occurred after the crime from the beginning.
Ob 1:4 “Though you soar high like an eagle and make your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down,” says the LORD.
Psalm 139:8 “If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in hell, you are there.”
Psalm 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, a great help in trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth changes, or the mountains shake and fall into the midst of the sea, whether the seas roar and roar, whether the mountains tremble with their overflow. (Selah)'
Psalm 121:1-8 “I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where will my help come from? My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. The LORD will not cause you to stumble, and his keeper will not sleep. The LORD will keep you, and the LORD will be your shade at your right hand; the sun by day will not hurt you, nor the moon by night. and the LORD will guard your entrance and exit from now on to everlasting.'
From what they describe as the 'great day' of wrath, they seem to know that the end times have come. In the face of God's final judgment, 'who can stand', and who can stand against God?
Unlike the false prophets of the past, the Antichrist will appear as a person who will lead the world. When economic activity and religious life are required through him, the history of the world will come to an end. On the day he appears, when the time comes when he sits in the temple and calls himself God, he must know that the end of the world has come.
Until the day when the Antichrist rises, the saints will carefully criticize the temptations of this world and the sickening church society of secularism, refine their faith to a more eschatological thought, and inspire the spirit of the holy priestly church to welcome the Lord, and lead this era in the future. I exhort you in the name of the Lord to win victory with true faith.
