Title: The Appearance of True Faith

Contents Sunday Worship Sermon

true faith look

(James 2:14-17)

There are 21 epistles in the New Testament. These are the letters of the apostles. When the apostles wrote their epistles, they emphasized in their own way, and in today's text, the book of James, we are talking about doing things right away. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ----- Faith, hope, and love must always be present in us, and these three must always be shown through beautiful deeds. Faith is invisible to our eyes. However, if you look at the kind of life that a person lives and his actions, you can tell whether the person's beliefs are true or false beliefs. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Through today's message, I hope that we will all have the grace to test ourselves and confirm whether we are standing firmly on the right faith, true faith, and living faith.

First, faith without works is of no benefit to us.

What was the result of faith in words, faith in words, and faith without works? “What will be the benefit?” that there is no benefit. It is a futile belief. The so-called “belief” is not real faith. Faith without works does not lead itself to the path of salvation. Of course, it is not by works that we become children of God, that we are justified and that we are saved. It is only by faith. But why did God save us from our sins and make us His children? It is to glorify God the Father through good deeds like those who have been saved. That is, we will have to live the lives of those who have been saved.

Second, faith without works is of no benefit to you or anyone else.

In the parable of the good Samaritan we know well, Jesus said, “Go and do likewise.” Emphasis was placed on action. Do not try to do it with word or tongue, but do it. We think that the person in front of us and the person next to us is Jesus, and we should do our best to give love. Love does not come in words and tongues. There must be action.

Third, faith without works is dead faith.

Faith is separate and works are not. Where there is true faith, true faith, and living faith, actions will automatically follow. Since there is no faith in the first place, there are no works. If it is true faith and living faith, then actions will naturally follow.

If we have not lived like those who have been saved, we must repent at this time. You should pray and ask for God's forgiveness. And even from now on, like God's children, we must have the faith that we really do and put into practice. Only then will our faith, our hope, and our love bear fruit beautifully.

After this one day we will all stand at the gates of heaven. We should not be the figure knocking on the door of heaven with a sad heart as it is closed. When we stand in front of the gates of heaven, the gates will automatically open wide, and I pray in the name of the Lord that the heavenly host of angels, the saints who went before, and the wonderful grace that Jesus welcomes us will be among you in the name of the Lord.
