Title: The attitude of a mature saint
Bible: Matthew 18:15-20
Starting Point of the Word>>
This time, I would like to share a message with the title of “Attitude of a Mature Saint”.
Most animals on the African plains walk from birth.
You have to walk from birth, and you have to run around in a short amount of time.
The reason is because it is the best choice for surviving in the field of life of weak and strong food.
However, despite being the primate of all things, man is born in the most imperfect form.
I can't even walk or run, let alone crawl.
A person has to take care of someone for a long period of time until he stands fully in shape.
The same goes for us Christians.
Getting started is pretty easy.
Because if you believe and confess Jesus as the Christ, you will be saved...
However, being saved does not mean the end of everything.
Our salvation is only the beginning, and after we are saved, we must continue to grow.
This means that we must continue to grow in the grace of God through the work of the Word and the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, we should not boast about our faith or perfection.
We are all in the process of becoming whole.
So we need a community of faith called the church, and we need members to grow together.
The early church suffered many hardships both inside and outside, and suffered severe persecution and persecution from outside.
Also, many heresies arose and disturbed the church.
It was difficult to establish a church, but it was even more difficult to keep it.
It is always important to find lost souls.
But it is more important and more difficult to establish the soul on the right faith.
So, the Lord tells the disciples a very important lesson through the text that follows the parable of the lost sheep.
In conclusion, the Lord does not want, under any circumstances, to cast off a sinful soul so easily.
He says that there must be an effort to save the lost soul by exhorting and exhorting.
Like the early church, the churches of today are experiencing many difficulties.
Rather than serving each other with love, the management mindset and the interests of the church have come to dominate the church.
This is what the Lord says to us.
Even if there are souls who have committed unacceptable sins among the members of the church, He tells us not to cut off those members recklessly.
As mature saints and mature churches, we must be able to remember the clear teachings of the Lord.
I hope this time today will be a time to listen to the Lord's teachings.
Go to Word>>
Today, Jesus tells the saints who are dealing with those who fall into the difficult position of sin that there is a work to be done first.
First, Jesus tells us to realize how precious a soul is.
He tells us not to forget that even a sinful soul is a lost soul.
What the church urgently needs to recover today is the Lord's eyes and the Lord's heart looking at the least of them.
Efforts are needed to ensure that not even a single soul stumbles.
To save that one soul, the Lord gave up the glory of heaven and took up the cross himself.
He wants the church and the members who do not know the value of one soul to realize the meaning of what it really means to exist.
Second, Jesus tells us to preserve that one soul.
The Lord's primary concern is only to find the soul back, whether it be a soul that has sinned, has been lost, or has gone out like the prodigal son.
It is the Lord's will to find that one soul to the end.
So, why is the Lord so eager to find out?
You will never be looking for something to lose again.
That is why the Lord is so eagerly seeking to preserve that soul so that he will never stumble again.
Sometimes we easily condemn and judge unbelievers.
However, it should be remembered that it can be an obstacle to the preservation of one soul, which is rather the will of the Lord.
No matter what kind of soul Jesus seeks now, we must not look at his outward appearance or attitude toward life, but embrace and deepen it with love like Jesus, and become a church and saint that preserves it well through faith.
Finally, Jesus tells us that we must have the heart of a shepherd.
Jesus says that what the members of the church need is the heart of a shepherd.
Jesus can never stop working until all lost souls are found.
Jesus wants them all to return to His bosom.
That is why Jesus continues the work today and cannot stop.
Also, Jesus is sending out laborers to the world today for the harvest.
As saints, we are sent to work with Jesus, so we must have a shepherd's heart like Jesus, take care of them, and become partners so that we can grow into believers of right faith.
Please remember that the reason we must have the heart of a shepherd today is the attitude that is absolutely necessary for the preaching of the gospel, which is the Lord's great command.

Example>>
A man found a wooden cane neatly placed at the entrance to the trail.
It looks like someone made it to be used as an aid for mountaineering.
It was very comfortable to hold the cane.
Perhaps the man who made the staff put it there so that those who came later could use it as well.
Throughout the hike, the cane made for a pleasant hike.
As he came down from the hike, he also left the cane neatly in a conspicuous place at the entrance of the hiking trail for someone who would also climb the mountain.
In fact, you don't know how convenient it is to have a cane when climbing steep mountains.
We, as saints who truly care for others, should have mature faith like this when we leave the staff behind for the sake of those who come later.
That is why, even when dealing with one soul, we must become saints who embrace with love, and we must raise them as mature saints who can do God's work together.
To do this, you must first have a heart to respect one soul, listen to the Lord's words to preserve and care for even that soul, and become a saint who can always be with you in good things with the heart of a shepherd.
Today, we will meet and deal with a lot of people.
Thinking of how precious God is to anyone I meet, I pray for that soul with a heart of service and love, and I bless you in the name of the Lord that you and all of our saints can testify with the gospel. .
