Title: The Authorized Word/Mark 1:21-28

Many people were amazed when the Lord was teaching the Word in the Capernaum synagogue.
It was a word I had never heard before.

They were astonished because the teachings of the scribes were outward, memorizing the law and clinging to genetics, while the teachings of our Lord were like those in authority.
The word “authority” is the Greek word “ekusia”, which is a combination of the two words “extra” and “essence” (usia).
The meaning of this word is to flow out of the essence.
In other words, they experienced the power of God and the life of God.
They were deeply moved by this life and powerful words.
How much would they have realized if they realized the Word in such a short time?
But as they listened to Jesus' words, they realized that there was a special power of God in those words.
Even though they could not remember the contents of the words, they received grace just by realizing one fact that the words of Jesus have authority.
This is not an intellectual, but a spiritual touch that is felt in the heart. This spiritual touch is really important.

Preaching is not just about imparting knowledge.
Knowledge is learned through the process of learning.
It's not even a funny story.
So preaching is spiritual and life-giving.
Because it soon gives birth to new life.
A sermon is not a good sermon just because you speak well.
A sermon is not a religious speech. What is important is spiritual life.
Preaching is necessary to supply this life.
When a shepherd provides food for his sheep, it is to provide life.
When we hear the Word, when we read the Bible, or when prayers are answered, the power of the Word touches our hearts, and the Word must live and wriggle inside.
At that time, all the blocked problems will be solved.
All our doubts will disappear and you should feel the thrill of the amazing power of the Holy Spirit springing up in the Lord.
If we look at today's text, the word of the Lord is coming with power and authority to all who hear it.
When these words enter our hearts, things such as anxiety, doubt, unbelief, hatred, and hatred disappear.
This powerful word breaks our hearts and comes in, so no one can resist.
But we have no choice but to kneel before the word.
This is the message of the mighty Lord.
You can see that the work of power took place at the place where Jesus preached the word.
When the Lord spoke, the demons had no choice but to retreat.
When the Lord speaks, the sea becomes calm.
As the Lord spoke, the sick had no choice but to become healthy.
As the Lord says, death can no longer claim and the dead have no choice but to come back to life.
Why?
This is because the word of the Lord has power.
The word of the Lord is power itself.
The power of the Lord opens and no one can shut, and when he closes no one can open.
If you say there is, there is no choice but if you say disappear, it disappears. By these words we have life,
By these words we live
With these words, we use our weapons as weapons and win.
Therefore, this word is also our strength.
Today's text is a proclamation of the word that appeared before the congregation for the first time after calling the disciples.
It is recorded that Jesus, who preached the word in the synagogue in Capernaum, was like one with authority.
Not only that, but at the same time, when he casts out the demons, the congregation finds a scene that is astonishing again (verse 27).
Today, the Lord speaks to us through the written Word of the Bible.
But He speaks to us not only through the written Word, but also through the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, the Holy Spirit is still speaking to us.
Even now, the Holy Spirit says, "Hear what the Holy Spirit says to the churches" and post it.
How can we hear the word of God without the Bible?
The Holy Spirit is not bound by the Word because the Holy Spirit is the author of the Word of the Bible.
He is speaking spiritually, not just in words.
Therefore, those who have open spiritual channels can still hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.

God spoke to Jeremiah, but he said he couldn't remember what he had said.

The word of the Lord rebukes demons.

The demon can no longer claim that person.
Why?
This is because the word of the Lord's power commands it.
What are ghosts?
Isn't he a deceiver from the beginning and the father of lies?
Therefore, the history of demons is a lie.
Even if it is possessed by a demon, it causes them to stumble over fire, fall through water, have epilepsy, and become deaf, any disease that a demon brings is false.
If the light of Jesus Christ, who is truth and life, shines, the spirit of lies,
The spirit of darkness has no choice but to retreat.
A lie cannot stand before the truth.
Just as it is impossible to stand in front of the light, where the light of Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, shines and shines, the work of unclean spirits, the devil, and Satan has no choice but to retreat.
The power of the Word is given not only to the Lord, but also to those who believe in Him.
The word is said to be a sword.
It is called the sword of the Spirit.
In addition, the Lord says that these signs follow those who believe in Mark 16:17 and below.
1 John 5:4 ...This is the victory, even our faith.
1 John 4:4 ...the one greater than the world is in us.
1 Corinthians 15:47 I give thanks to him who gives me the victory.
The Apostle Paul preached the gospel, not in the words of human wisdom, but in the spirit of the Holy Spirit.
It was said to be a manifestation of ability. (1 Corinthians 2:3; 1 Thessalonians 1:5)
The Lord has given us the authority to use these words. do you believe
He has given us the power of the Holy Spirit as well as the power of the Word.
A police officer's uniform can make a car stop.
But you can't stop a car that is just running away ignoring it.
You need a weapon to stop it.
