Bible: Revelation 13:10-18
Title: The Beast with Two Horns
Revelation 13:10-18 ‘10. Those who are going into captivity will go into captivity, and those who are killed by the sword must die by the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints. 11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, with two horns like a lamb, and speaking like a dragon. , ...
13. He performed great miracles, and even caused fire to come down from heaven to the earth in front of men... 15. And he was given power to give life to the image of the beast, and to make the image of the beast speak, and not worship the image of the beast. He made all who did not do so, as many as possible, to be put to death.
16. He causes all, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead... 18. Here is wisdom; His number is six hundred and sixty-six.' - Amen.
In this chapter, two beasts appear. One is the beast that came out of the sea, the Antichrist, and the second is the beast that came up from the earth. This is a false prophet for the antichrist who has been empowered again by the antichrist who has received the power of the dragon. Like the Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, it is the history of the coachman (dragon, Satan), the devil (antichrist), and the devil (false prophet).
This false prophet will make idols for the Antichrist and set them up in the whole world to bow down and kill those who do not worship them.
1. It is the continuation of the tribulation of the saints that began with the Antichrist.
Antichrist, the politician who will rule the world, will kill many saints.
Revelation 13:10 “Whoever goes into captivity will go into captivity, and whoever is killed by the sword must die by the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints.
Those who are going to be arrested must be arrested, and those who are killed by the sword must die, but it is telling us that the faith of the saints will be given. Faith is given as a gift (Ephesians 2:8).
2. Spiritual Persecution
The most terrible tribulation for believers is spiritual tribulation. Earlier, the antichrist was a martyr who directly killed the saints. The false prophet, the two-horned beast that followed, receives the Spirit of the Antichrist and undergoes a spiritual test.
Matthew 24:24 “False Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, and if possible, they will deceive even the elect” (Matthew 24:11; 2 Corinthians 11:14).
Text Revelation 13:13-15 ‘13. performing great miracles, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in the presence of men, 14 by performing the miracles that were given to them in the presence of the beast... '
If you live your life of faith with meritocracy, you will have such a wonderful problem.
This is something to be aware of in today's era of the last days. When the Bible speaks of love, it never tells us to love without law, and the life of faith also commands that the heresy that rebels against the truth be eradicated and that the church is ideologically holy.
2 Timothy 4:3 “The time is coming when people will not receive sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate many teachers to suit their own desires.”
Gal 1:8 “But if we, or even angels from heaven, preach any other gospel than the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.”
3. Persecution in Economic Life
The false prophet will create an idol for the Antichrist, not only to suppress and unify religion, but also to bring the idol to life and exercise the power of making the idol speak. Also, the whole world will receive a mark that symbolizes the Antichrist, which is 666 in number. If you receive this number signifying the Antichrist on your right hand or on your forehead, you will be controlled and suffered by the mark.
Revelation 13:16 “He causes all, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead.”
Revelation 14:11 "...and anyone who worships the beast and his image and receives the mark of his name will find no rest day or night."
Acts 14:22 “… it is said that we must go through many tribulations to enter the kingdom of God.”
