Content Beautiful men/Ephesians 5:23
“For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the church, who himself is the Savior of the body” (Ephesians 5:23).
Word: Men who can exercise leadership are beautiful (Ephesians 5:23). The Apostle Paul emphasizes that the husband should be the head of the wife. God gave Adam the grace to exercise leadership in the family and in society. After he made each beast of the ground, he brought them all to Adam and gave him a name (Genesis 2:19). A man must faithfully fulfill the role of a leader in society or at home.
President Carter became a respected leader by becoming a hero maker rather than a hero himself. Today's men must demonstrate Carter-style leadership. Also, the husband must be the spiritual priest of the family. Husbands must kneel in prayer to feed, apply, and put God's Word into practice for their wives and children.
A man who values his wife is beautiful (1 Peter 3:7). Peter urges husbands to cherish the wife as she is a weak vessel and a partner who will share eternal life. To cherish means to pay close attention to detail. You should treat your wife warmly and respect her. When small wounds and disappointments are gathered, it will be left as a big, irreversible wound in the future.
Peter warns that a husband's prayers may be blocked because he does not value his wife. A husband who values his wife can not only be the hero of a happy family life, but also a victor in the life of godly faith.
A man who has a life of service for his wife is beautiful (Ephesians 5:25). “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25). True love always involves dedication and sacrifice. God sacrificed even the life of His only begotten Son to save us. That such sacrifices should be made for those who are husbands.
Sacrifice must begin with specific service. We need a service that starts with the burdensome housework of wives and helps with the heavy burdens of raising children and housekeeping. You should not be a husband who is kind to all the people in the world, but is indifferent to his most precious wife.
