Title: The Beautiful Worker/Philippians 2:21-25
Content Beautiful Workers/Philippians 2:21-25
“They all seek their own things, and not those of Christ Jesus, but you know the training of Timothy, that they labored with me for the gospel as a child does a father… ” (Philippians 2:21-25)
Word: The first element of a beautiful worker is one who gives priority to the work for the kingdom of God (verses 21-22). As Steven Corson, a well-known American success consulting expert, put it this way: “Do what is most valuable first.” In fact, 24 hours are given equally to everyone. The secret to a successful and influential life in your field is to focus on investing in the things that matter most to you. The same principle applies in the world of faith. Our Lord has commanded, “Seek ye first his kingdom and his righteousness.” It means that the Lord's work is prioritized.
Third, a noble worker is one who acts as a bridge between the leader and the lay faithful. “Even when he died for the cause of Christ, he did not care for his life, so that your work in serving me might be lacking” (Philippians 2:30). Lay people serve as a bridge between new believers and leaders and carry out their missions. You should. Office-bearers should inform the lay people of the leader's pain and anguish. We also need to encourage lay people when they are frustrated and connect them so that the pastor can heal them. There are blessings from God when we dedicate ourselves. It is to bear fruit. In the name of the Lord, I ask that beautiful workers bear this kind of spiritual fruit.
