Title: The Beloved Sinner / Luke 7:36-50
Contents A sinner loved / Luke 7:36-50 Rev.
Raising the problem: Fallen (sinner) humans have no power to save themselves. How can a sick person heal a sick person? How can a person who has no choice but to die by drowning himself can save others from drowning? Therefore, the salvation of man absolutely needs the help of the transcendent one. In other words, divine power from above must come. It is Jesus who came to save us humans. Jesus is the only one who came to forgive our sins. Jesus is God's only way to atone for sin. Is there any other name other than Jesus who has the authority to forgive our sins? Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Why do we need forgiveness of sins? They say get saved, get saved, but why? It was because of sin that evil and suffering came, resulting in death and all kinds of misery. For sinners are judged by God. We must be saved there.
I want to receive grace by examining the principle of forgiveness of sins in Christianity in the text. In today's text, the principle of receiving the forgiveness of sins is well expressed.
First, it is possible by first finding the sinner.
The sinner has no power to save himself. The religions of the world do not dare to touch or come to a sinner first because they are unclean if they come into contact with an unclean thing. you have to find yourself Jesus completely reversed this. Although Jesus went to the Pharisee's house, it can be said that it was to find the woman who was a sinner first. A sinner or a Pharisee is a sinner. The way of forgiveness of sins is opened by finding them there first.
Human beings become holy through fellowship with the found Jesus. It is Jesus who forgives sins, but there is one important thing, that is, you have to touch Jesus who has come to you. When you do, your sins will be forgiven. This means that you must accept Jesus as your whole person. No matter how much Jesus comes to you, if you refuse to meet him, your sins cannot be forgiven. Having a bathroom can cleanse our body. But he cannot become clean unless he goes to his body and immerses himself in the bath water.
In order for a person to be saved, he must come to the same church as the bath of salvation. worship must be held By hearing the word, you have faith. To receive the forgiveness of sins, you must be before Jesus. He declares that he forgives such a person.
Second, it is possible by responding correctly with material.
The perfumed alabama offered by the sinner woman is a reward for the forgiveness of sins. It is the material that allows one to know that one's sins are forgiven. To the woman who kissed Jesus' feet and poured alabaster ointment on his feet, Jesus said, 'Therefore, many sins are forgiven me. It is clear that material things did not forgive sins. However
Since ancient times, people have been offering sacrifices to their gods. It was supported to appease its god and to release its wrath. For such an act, they gave money and even supported people. They promote their own god. This is called superstition. But Christian consecration is different. When Jesus first came to me, then I was grateful for his grace, and his love was so great that I was such a sinner and I was loved so much. In other words, in order to receive salvation, we do not offer material things to forgive sins. Consecration is the offering as evidence of the fact that one has been forgiven. It is a balm of perfume Those who receive much love at this time will give much. Those who feel or believe in little love may give little, generously, or stingy.
Therefore, we should consider the quality of our faith by looking at the material. Let's become a person who wants to give more of my material and want to support even the alabaster. This person will realize that his sins are forgiven. Wesley also said that only when a money bag is born again can a person be truly born again.
Third, it is possible when we humble ourselves and admit that we are sinners.
The healthy have no need of a physician, but the sick... I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
In the original Jewish tradition, it was customary to pour oil on the head. But this woman does not dare look at Jesus' head. And he stood at the feet of Jesus. He wiped his feet with tears and kissed them. It is a form of humility that completely humbles oneself. Here is the way to the forgiveness of sins. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
The publican and the Pharisee pray... (Luke 18:9-14: Luke 18:9 He also spoke this parable to those who believed in themselves righteous and despised others: Two men went up to the temple to pray, one of them a Pharisee. and one was a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself, saying, ?쏥od, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, nor like this publican. And the tax collector stood afar off, and did not dare lift up his eyes to look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ?쏦ave mercy, O God, for I am a sinner.??I tell you, this man went down to his house justified than the other. Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
She called herself a sinner. The Pharisee who was invited here is indulging in pride as if he were not a sinner. But when he admits he is in sin, he needs a legislator. No matter how much he wants to be healed, he dies slowly without a cure for those who say he is healthy. Its body is still alive, like a flower pulled from the ground, but it is slowly dying.
Who is the most untreatable? He is the one who acts as a doctor. Self-illness refuses to help anyone he knows. However, without the help of transcendence, humans can never diagnose or cure their own disease.
