Title: The Benefits of Jesus' Coming
Contents
Hallelujah!
It was peaceful for a week. I hope you are doing well. It snowed a lot. Although there was a lot of inconvenience in traffic, how grateful are you to be able to come and worship in the chapel like this? I pray that the overflowing love of the Lord will always be with you, dear ones.
When I looked up the word “benefit” in the dictionary, it was written that “it refers to both grace and virtue”. As society develops more and more, there are many benefits that did not exist before. Benefits for the elderly: In other words, thanks to the grace that only the elderly can enjoy.
Some time ago, my father-in-law and some of my family members went up to Seoul to do housework. Everyone had to ride the train together, but he was the youngest son-in-law, so I bought all the train tickets by hand according to the number of people. But my father-in-law said that I don't need to buy my ticket. Yes. I misunderstood for a while. If you are over the age of 65, you can get a ticket and just get on the train.
I wrote it on the way home without changing the remaining tickets, but there are benefits given to special classes such as the elderly for the elderly, the disabled for the disabled, and the military for the military.
I tell you today that our children of God also have benefits. I have said that it is the privilege of being a child of God, but I hope that today, through the Bible, we can share with our children of God the benefits that Jesus came to earth and gave to those who live by faith in Him .
Today's Bible is God's words of restoration to the people of Israel. Because of the sins of the people of Israel, Israel in the north and Judah in the south are prophesying that they will recover from persecution and captivity in the Gentile countries. God prophesied that the people who were held captive in Babylon would return to their original places, and was telling them to live a restored new life.
This means that Jesus Christ, who came to this earth, is a blessing that our God's creatures who are oppressed by sin will receive through the coming of Jesus, and that God's will and providence will be fulfilled so that they can live a new life by enjoying the blessings.
Today, I would like to share with you what kind of benefits we have received from the works of Jesus, who came to this earth in the face of Advent, while looking through the Word of God's promise to the people of Judah through the end of the day.
1. This is the benefit of returning the captives.
Verse 23, “Thus saith God, When I bring the captives back… ”
