Suffering follows you like a shadow during the given life.
Just as a shadow cannot be separated from reality,
Whether we like it or not, we cannot get rid of suffering.
If you meditate on the words of the text, you can think of the saying that suffering is a good thing for us.
Today's text, Job 5:17-27, says that Eliphaz, Job's friend, said to Job that God gave him suffering in order to discipline him.
Therefore, what Job has to do is to accept God's discipline positively.
I also lost all my possessions.
I also lost all my children.
I lost all my honor and health.
But when it becomes the faith of Amen that accepts these things positively,
It is a promise that God will bring blessings again.
In other words, you can think of the fact that all of God's discipline has a hidden meaning.
That is to say, it is beneficial for our lives.
“Blessed are those who receive the discipline of God.
You shall not despise the rebuke of the Almighty.
God makes it hurt, binds up, and bruises
He heals with his hands, and he saves you from six afflictions, and even in seven afflictions, his calamity does not come upon you.
You said.
God of love in our lives,
Verse 20 “delivers us from the afflictions of death in the time of famine.”
In verse 21, it says, “He delivered me from the tribulation of the power of the sword in the time of war.
The tribulation of the whip of the tongue, that is, slander and curses,
Even when faced with harsh ridicule and vaguely innocent, God
He promises to rescue us and protect us.”
1. You will receive the blessing of becoming bold in your faith.
Verse 22 says, “You laugh at destruction and famine, and you are not afraid of the beasts of the field.”

2. It is said that stones in the field make a covenant.
Verse 23 says, “When a field has many stones, it is difficult to cultivate it, and there is no crop because there is no crop, but there is no stone in the field.”
In other words, when you make a covenant, your crops will grow well and you will have a bountiful harvest.
It is a promise that our business, family, and children can receive abundant and abundant blessings.
3. It has been said that wild beasts make peace with you.
Verse 23 says, “You can be victorious and protected from the power of fierce enemies and from the power of demons.”
4. He said there will be peace in your tent.
Verse 24 says, “When God’s mercy and grace dwell with us and our tents, our tents will be at peace now and in the future.”
5. Your descendants will become many.
Verse 25 says, “Know that your descendants will be numerous, and your descendants will be like grass in the kingdom.”
6. It is said that you will live a long life.
Also, in verse 26, it says, “Sheaves of grain will be brought up like an uphill.”
I believe that it is the grace of God that our lives are not cut in the middle while we live in this world and that we live long enough.
It's not like the sheaves are cut in the middle,
Just as they are ripe and cut down and piled up in warehouses, it means that our lives will last long on earth, both physically and mentally, and then, when the time comes, we will be taken up to heaven.
Verse 27 says, “This is what we have studied; hear it and know that it is to your advantage.”
“Listen and know that it is to your advantage”
These words are not just Eliphaz's words to Job, but God's words to us today.
In our past life and future life, no matter how hard we face, whether we are in peace or whatever we are faced with, we must firmly believe that all things will be useful to us and will give us blessings.
