Title: The best dream

Content Title: The best dream

Bible: Genesis 50:22-26

When you wake up in the morning, it feels good to have a good dream last night. But I have bad dreams, unpleasant dreams, and I feel very bad. All people have dreams of life, some have really cool and sublime dreams, while others live with ugly, unproductive and harmful dreams.

Psychologist Abraham Maslow said, "The greatest desire of man is the dream of self-fulfillment." With good dreams in front of them, they show their skills and abilities and rejoice when those dreams come true. On the other hand, when dreams do not come true and possibilities disappear, they feel the crisis and despair of life and cannot live in the end. It is great happiness to strive for the realization of a good dream and a beautiful life. Individuals with dreams do not perish. A dream church never withers. A nation with dreams never disappears. What dreams do you have today?

The saints must fulfill all their dreams of self-realization on this earth. You have to succeed in business, you have to raise your children well, you have to raise them well, you have to study a lot to build up your skills, you have to do your job well and you have to be recognized for your abilities.

Now, let's break our dream, the dream of self-realization. And it's time to start dreaming God's dreams for God. What is the realization of life for God? It's not difficult. You just have to live for the Lord and live for others.

Then there is the biggest and most precious dream we Christians should have, and that is the dream of evangelism. That is, we must live a life for the gospel. What have you been buying for so far? What else would you spend the rest of your life for? Let's say you're middle-aged in the whole chapter of life. I think I bought more than half of them.

In soccer, there is a first half, a second half, and there is a break in the middle. Those who score a few goals in the first half and score well in the second half are relatively relaxed. However, those who make a lot of mistakes in the first half and fail to achieve their goals are anxious and anxious to make up for them in the second half. If you think you're middle-aged now and you think you've lived the first half wrong, you have to live the second half well from now on. We must live a beautiful life that we choose not for our own desires, but according to God's will, not by our instincts, but by our values. Those who live for the kingdom of God and for the word of God receive precious blessings. The disciples whom Jesus loved so much actually changed their dreams many times. I had personal ambitions and a grand national dream, but as a result of my efforts, I realized that it was nothing and kept my dream as a truly great witness of the gospel.

Think of someone like Paul. This man always goes about saying that he owes a lot to the gospel. He said that he should pay off his debts with the feeling of being chased by his creditors, not by his debtors.

But Paul prayed, "Thank God for opening the door of evangelism and sending me to prison. Thank you for giving me a new field of evangelism. Help me to share the mystery of Christ boldly." Also look at Joseph in the text. This person is a person who has only one dream for the rest of his life, young or old. It was a dream about God's Word, a conviction about God's promises. So, even in hard times, he did not become subservient. Even after becoming successful, his heart was not in wealth. Joseph trusted God even in adversity, and trusted the Lord even more in peace.

All of Joseph's dreams, interests, and affections belonged to God. It was in Zion, the land of God. Although he succeeded in Egypt and succeeded there, his heart was on God.

Will Joseph not keep this precious dream in which he hopes that God will appear and that God will be witnessed through that dream, or even through his bones after his death? I hope that we will all become precious saints who receive amazing rewards on the day of judgment by keeping this dream of evangelism and diligently evangelizing.
