Title: The Bible and Christ
Contents
The Bible is like a well, and Christ is like living water from a well. There are deep wells that cannot be pumped by human beings, or wells that are pumped with a bucket, wells that are pumped with a gourd, or a well that you can just lie down and grab with your hands. There is only one bottle of water, but the shape and shape of the well (bowl) that contains it is different.
All the Bible is like a well of living water (Christ) written by the inspiration of God. God gave 66 wells of Christ (living water) to the world as His prophets and sons in order to save us who were dead from the life of God. 66 wells are enough to save all people.
Among the 66 wells, some belong to the old covenant and some belong to the new covenant. The well belonging to the old covenant was not a true well, but a well of a model to let people know about the true well of the new covenant. Therefore, it was a well of shadow until the promised descendant came and gave him a well of living water.
As it is written, “God, who in ancient times spoke to our fathers in various parts and in many ways through the prophets, has spoken to us in these last days through his Son...” (Hebrews 1:1-2). As it is said, “The law is a shadow of the good things to come and is not the true image, so that those who come to it cannot be perfected at any time by the sacrifices they offer year after year.”
From the wells of the Bible now the heavenly calling brothers drink Christ to their heart's content from the deep or shallow waters of living water, sometimes gushing springs. This water never becomes thirsty again, and this water is eternal living water that springs from the stomach. If you do not know this living water, you will only draw water from wells outside Suga.
It is the same proof as the Lord of living water said, "Whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never thirst.
It is not the well that gives life, but the living water in the well. Many people know the well and study it by the well, sometimes by the puddle, only arguing with each other and not knowing about living water. Therefore, some people fill their cisterns with rotten water and deceive them that it is a well with living water, causing many people to drink and eventually die themselves and many people who drink the rotten water. This is the same as the words spoken by the prophet, “My people have done two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water, and have dug themselves a cistern, which is a broken cistern that cannot hold water” (Jeremiah 2:13). is.
The Lord said, “You search the Scriptures, thinking that you have eternal life in the Scriptures, and these Scriptures testify of Me, but you do not want to come to Me to have eternal life” (John 5:39-40). As you said, eternal life is not the frame of the Bible, but Jesus Christ, the mystery of the living God in it.
Living water is not something you see. is to drink. Therefore, the word of righteousness as eternal living water is not merely knowledge to be known, but to drink and experience. Therefore, it is testified that “we were all baptized into one body by one Spirit, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, and were all made to drink of one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13) Concerning the Word, we have heard, we have seen with our eyes, we have looked at and touched with our hands” (1 John 1:1).
Therefore, Christ, the mystery of God, is the matter of God. The circumstances of God are also known by no one but the Spirit of God. God reveals this by the Holy Spirit only to those who have received a revelation according to the wishes of his Son, those of Christ Jesus, who are determined to have eternal life. Those who see this are the children of God. To those who see it, God says it is true and seals it with the Holy Spirit.
We give eternal praise to God in Christ Jesus our Lord, who gave us the hidden manna and gave us Christ, who is the eternal living water that the Bible testifies. Amen.
