Title (Ⅱ) The Blessed One (Psalm 1:1~6)
Contents
① Human beings aspire to become a blessed person, a valuable person, and a noble person, but there is no teaching in the world to make them such a person, and no one knows what kind of person this person is. ② However, the text clearly shows the teaching of becoming this person and what kind of person this person is (1~2).
“A man who does not use the counsel and means of the wicked” (Matthew 16:23).
① The wicked are self-centered, creature-centered, world-centered, and flesh-centered. ② If this person’s lifestyle is good for themselves and for glory, centered on their own self-interest and self-glorification, it will harm God and others. He is a person who pursues and accomplishes things without hesitation, regardless of whether it becomes an insult or not. ③ However, if a blessed person says that no matter how beneficial, honorable, or glorifying work may be to God and his neighbor, he will not stop doing it, even if it is a loss to himself. ④ Blessed are those who use such methods centering on righteousness and truth that have real benefits to God and neighbors and that no one can condemn. ⑤ Therefore, believers should not wish, plan, speak, or act centered on the difference of understanding, but should live for the true benefit of God and their neighbors (Philippians 2:5-11).
“He who does not stand in the way of sinners” (John 14:6)
① “Sin” is to act crookedly toward God. Blessed people do not walk if they deviate from God’s right path, and if they find a derailment even if they walk, they will suffer from life or death, understanding problems, or suffering. Blessed is the person who immediately turns back and goes on the right path, even if there is damage to what has been built up for decades. ② If it is the right path, it is the true ability and wisdom of human beings to keep walking until the end without stopping or yielding to the path, no matter what difficulties and frictions there may be, even if there are sacrifices. ③ Most people put their own interests and work ahead of the right path, but this is an ointment that is weak and shrouded in darkness. ④ People who do something they will regret an hour before and regret it an hour later are the most foolish, and those who know what they will regret at the judgment seat an hour later, 1 year, 10 years, and walk the right path are blessed.
“He who does not sit in an arrogant seat” (Luke 18:9-14)
① It’s enough. They don’t say they’ve done everything, but always a student in learning, always a sinner in righteousness, always a knowledgeable person, an ignorant person, and an incompetent person in power…. sleep ② He is a person who runs his own path to the end, lamenting his sins, injustice, disloyalty, and ignorance, lamenting his sins, injustice, disloyalty, and incompetence, saying, “Oops,” even though he has run all the way he should have walked. . ③ The arrogant person has nothing more to do with me. Those who say they have nothing to learn, to “take a seat” means to stop working and rest. It is taking a break because there is nothing more to do ④ At first, Paul said that I was like a child born out of full term, but as his faith deepened, he said, “I am the chief among sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15).
“He who delights in the law of the Lord and meditates day and night” (Psalm 119:97-100).
(II) Let's work out our salvation through Job's patience (James 5:7-11)
① “In order to enter the kingdom of heaven, you must suffer many things” (Acts 14:22) “For our light affliction, which is for a little while, is working out an exceedingly great and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) “We are now The suffering you suffer is not worthy to be compared with the glory you will receive” (Romans 8:18) ② As the Word says, the saints must learn the patience of Job because they are working in the reality of suffering to achieve salvation by cultivating the power of heaven in the world.
“Gives the reality of suffering to work out salvation” (James 1:2-4)
① Say that this world is a thorny road, but it is a world of adversity, but it is a gift of God's grace that makes the saints who are working on salvation perfect as a person of God and perfect to do all good works. ② Therefore, we should not grumble or complain with our narrow view, but seek and fulfill the salvation that we must achieve in that reality. ③ Those who grumble, complain, and suffer are the old ones to be subjugated, break them, kill them, and grow and strengthen the new ones who can overcome suffering (Ephesians 4:22-24) ④ The old people are the servants and agents of the devil and our faith Because he is the greatest enemy in terms of and salvation, we must put all our efforts into destroying and killing this old man. ⑤ When you receive God's wisdom through prayer, you must discover and remove the sinful nature, malignancy, and other things that others were not aware of, discover new things in human beings, in yourself, in things and events, and fix what you want to fix.
“You should not take the fruit of salvation as your income, but the work and process of bearing fruit as your income.”
① Believers should not live for and hope for success that ends in the world. Success sometimes comes when you are alive, but sometimes it comes only after you die, so you should work with a purpose in making it successful, not for success. ② When a believer practices “righteousness,” we should not take the results of righteousness as our income, but make it our income from doing righteousness every day. ③ No matter what motive we do, we must strive to achieve results. ④ However, since you may not see the results before you die, you should not look at the results, but take the process and means to achieve the results as income. ⑤ Set a purpose according to God's will and strive every day to achieve it, but do not use the set purpose as income, but use the daily work until the purpose is achieved as income. ⑥ Even if we do not see the outcome, if we faithfully do the tasks assigned to us day by day, that is the same success as achieving our goals. (Galatians 6:7-10)
“In order to reap the fruits of salvation, we must distinguish the elements to be given and invest appropriately” (2 Corinthians 6:1~2).
① The work to be done and the weight and type of elements to be given are different in each area to realize the fruit of salvation. ② It should not be excessive or insufficient, and should be invested appropriately in the area. ③ In some things we need to invest our character, in some things we need to invest love, in some things we need to invest time, in some things we need to invest energy, in some things we need to invest material, and in some things we need to invest knowledge and wisdom. , function... should be invested. ④ Life is all about working, and you need to invest capital in your work. If you invest it right, you will get 30, 60, and 100 times your income. ⑤ The failure is because the type of work and the capital invested are different and they do not know this. Because work has weight, it is necessary to invest differently according to the weight, but it is because they do not know and do not invest.
“Let us succeed in salvation in all realities through the patience of Job” (Romans 5:2-4).
① The reason that the prophets did not fail and succeeded is because they endured hardship for a long time. ② So, as “Brothers, take as examples from the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord” (verse 10), the secret to success is to be patient. ③ The reason that people of faith succeeded (Hebrews 11) and that the people of the world succeeded is because they walked unparalleled with strong will, fighting spirit, effort and perseverance. ④ All the fruits of salvation are to be reaped at the end of perseverance (Matthew 24:13).
