Title: The Blessing of a Wise Life

Contents

1 Prestige rather than riches, and grace rather than silver or gold. 2 The rich and poor live together, but the Lord is their Maker. 3 The prudent see a disaster and hide from it, but the foolish go on and be harmed. 4 Humility And the reward of the fear of the Lord is riches, glory, and life. 5 In the way of the rebellious are thorns and a snare, but those who keep the soul are far from them.

1. Words that begin

You have to do this job, you have to do that job, you have to solve this problem, you have to solve that problem, this is important and that is important, you have to choose this person, you have to choose that person, you have to choose the riches and you have to choose the honor, There are often times when you have to study this, you have to study that, you need to know this and you need to know that too. Therefore, a man who cannot do everything at once must have wisdom, the ability to discern what is to be done first, what is more important, what is more essential, and what is more valuable.

However, the problem is that different people have different judgments about ‘more than’. It may be more important to this person, but not important to that person at all. When this person sees it, it may be the first thing to do, or when that person sees it, it may be the last thing to do, or it may not be enough. This person chooses to be more valuable, but you can discard that person as insignificant. Therefore, we must always pray to God for wisdom and long for His Word.

2. Choose more

The writer of Proverbs said, “Fame is preferred over much riches, and grace rather than silver or gold.” Nevertheless, people value riches more than fame and choose them. In the human world, getting a lot of wealth became the measure of success, and even some of the wealth became the measure of a person's evaluation. Don't you give up your degree for money, sell your body, sell your personality, and commit murder?

Satan, who is well aware of the attributes and desires of these people, deceived them into believing that wealth was all-powerful and made them worship as gods. As a result, golden almightyism prevailed, and wealth became a more powerful idol than any other idol in the world, and was served by humans who were enslaved by it. What is the biggest obstacle for people to have as much power as God, and to believe in and serve God? It's just the stuff. Matthew 6:24 says, “No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other, for ye cannot serve both God and riches.” .

The Bible does not tell us to throw away wealth, nor does it teach us to belittle it. Jesus also entrusted Judas Iscariot the treasurer of the Discipleship, and one of God's blessings is definitely riches. Going to a banquet or visiting a hospital requires money to keep basic etiquette, education to make people requires money, and even religious events require wealth. Wealth is a powerful force in real life. One of the most important national tasks is obviously economic development. Moreover, in 2003 alone, one person every 48 minutes, about 30 people a day, and the number of suicides has been rapidly increasing recently. is to do it.

What the Bible warns against is the idolization of wealth, the pride of wealth, and the false sense of security due to wealth. Proverbs 23:5 says, “How can you pay attention to futility? Surely riches will make wings and fly away like the eagles in the sky.” Also, when God takes away our souls, all our wealth is no longer with us. Wealth is not an object to be trusted and served, but a means of love for the glory of God. Everyone! What is entrenched in our hearts? Is it the heart of Jesus Christ? Or is it money?

No matter how important riches may be, they cannot be more important than our own honor. It is unfortunate that even among the so-called good-looking people, they are tarnishing their honor by choosing a lot of riches. A person must make an effort to prosper, but the first thing to do is to believe in God and form a person of faith.

The honor that we should choose more than many riches is not the honor of receiving praise or praise from the world, but the honor we get through a reverent and consistent life that fears God the Creator and obeys His Word. Philippians 2:15 says, "For you are blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, as lights among them in the world," says Philippians 2:15.

In Genesis 11:4, those who wished to gain worldly honor said, “And they said, “Come, let us build a city and a pillar, so that the top of the tower reaches to heaven, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the earth.” Charles Bridges said, "It is better for others to blemish our name than for us to wound our own conscience."

We should choose grace over silver or gold. We must choose the grace of God over honor. The most important thing in life is God's grace, the most important thing is God's grace, and the most valuable thing is God's grace. Beloved, what could be more urgent and important than to receive the grace of God, the Creator, the Source of all things, and the eternal Savior? Isn't it possible to gain honor by God's grace, to gain wealth by God's grace, to gain health by God's grace, and to gain eternal life by God's grace? Verse 4 says that the reward of humility that exalts God and humbles himself and serves God with fear and trembling is riches, glory, and life. On the other hand, verse 5 says that there are thorns and a snare in the way of the rebellious, far from those who keep the soul.

Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” By the way, how much of a life of faith do we deserve to receive God's grace? Are you seeking first the kingdom and righteousness of God?

3. A world where rich and poor live together

The writer of Proverbs said, “The rich and poor live together, but the Lord is their Maker.” In the human world provided by God, like all things, there are differences, not discrimination, and diversity, not uniformity.

The Bible, the word of God, says that all human beings are equal in that they are creatures of the same God, are objects of love, are sinners who need to be saved, enjoy freedom and human rights according to God's Word, and live in love with each other. I am teaching. However, there is no saying that you have made the appearance, personality and temperament, aptitude and talent, aptitude and characteristic, ability and ability, time and amount of work, hard work and effort, process and result, etc. Humans are human beings, not moving puppets or machines.

God creates people in a variety of ways and allows them to lead a variety of lives along different paths. He makes you reap the results of your various lives as you sow. In 1 Samuel 2:7 we read, “The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he humbles and exalts. The pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and the Lord has built the world upon them."

These principles of God's creation and providence are the truths that every human being as a creature should know first of all. Even if you acquire all kinds of worldly knowledge, it is not as good as knowing the truth of God.

If you look at history, there have been many attempts, including communism, that blindly tried to achieve equality in human society without acknowledging human diversity and differences. Don't we know very well how much chaos and how catastrophic the process and results have been?

You must be wise. You must be wise. You must know the principle of God's creation, know the principle of God's providence, and have the wisdom to fear God and live by that principle. If you see that the previous person is disobeying God's principles and causing great disaster, shouldn't you hide and avoid it? Any kind of disaster should be avoided when we see it, but fools go ahead and get hurt. When you see a foolish person who caused the calamity of a living hell called war to conquer the world and make it one, you should realize and avoid it, but how many fools have followed? Knowing that success is enough, you have to be loyal and devoted to your country and people, but how many other public officials have suffered catastrophe while choosing more wealth?

4. Conclusion

We should choose honor over riches and grace over honor. Above all, we must acknowledge and follow the differences and diversity of human society created and provided by the gracious God. Difference and diversity are reasons to love, not to discriminate. Job 34:19 says, “He does not respect the royal family, nor considers the rich above the poor, for they are all the work of his hands.” May we all humbly avoid disasters with the wisdom of fearing God, and enjoy the blessings of wealth, glory, and eternal life.
