Title: The Blessing of Faith
Gospel of John (47) The blessing of faith (John 6:60-71)

Wherever you go, people flock to the fort for miraculous healing. Then, the person who causes healing is considered to be Jesus' brother, and becomes a 'great servant'. When a person becomes exalted like that, the heavenly reward disappears, and usually the person goes against the Lord's way. The bigger problem is that you are going the wrong way, but you don't know you're going the wrong way. Many miracles are given by Satan, so the Bible warns of Satan's miracles in several places.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 says: “The coming of the evil one will come according to the works of Satan, with all powers and signs and false miracles and all deceitfulness of unrighteousness, on those who are perishing, for they have not received the love of the truth, and they will not be saved.” There is also healing that appears through the work of Satan. That is why the Apostle Paul says that those who seek healing and follow them will not receive the love of the truth and will not be saved.
When people come to see a miracle, the true shepherd says: "Everyone! Miracles are not important. Miracles must not precede the Lord. Don't come looking for a miracle.” Only when such right faith is exhorted can the true healing work appear and the soul is also saved. Many people find the right message uninteresting and look around in search of signs, but they can go to heaven where they will follow the path of faith that is not flashy and unpopular, and the reward in heaven will be great.
< Blessing of Faith >
Surprised by the miracle of the five fish, the crowd tried to seize Jesus and make him king in order to achieve their fleshly purpose, but the Lord left the mountain alone to avoid the crowd (verse 15). How different is it from the many healing propagandists in today's media? Healing propagandists were interested in how to gather a large crowd, but the Lord was interested in how to escape from the large crowd. The Lord never showed miracles through healing or miracle meetings. God does not perform miracles according to human rhythm.
Even though he avoids the crowd, when the crowd follows him, he tells them about the ‘bread of life’ (verses 32-58). Hearing these words, the people said, “It is difficult! It's no fun!” and they all left the Lord, leaving only the 12 disciples in the end. Seeing the 12 disciples, the Lord said (verse 67). “Are you going to cover it too?” What a heartbreaking scene. Then Peter says something that reverses the hopeless mood. “You have the word of eternal life, so how do we leave?”
Peter did not focus on ‘miracles’, but on ‘the Lord’. And he said that he would follow the Lord to the narrow gate no matter what. How much comfort would those words have given to the Lord at that time? Peter's confession of faith is the most precious devotion. The Lord received that faith and made him the chief disciple, not because he was the oldest and had other abilities.
Say something like this when things are difficult. “I believe in you. Be brave.” At the same time, the way you try to smile, act as if you are feeling empowered, and try to lighten the mood is the most precious dedication. How happy will God be then? On the other hand, how much do you hate Satan the devil? Confession of faith is both a tool of torture to torture the devil and a tool of blessing that brings out God's blessing.
God delights in faith above all else. End the experience as a pathway to faith, and from then on, live by faith alone. True faith comes only when the Holy Spirit moves us (verse 65). No matter how great miracles are witnessed, those who do not believe will still not believe. Also, a lot of knowledge doesn't give you faith. You must first believe in order to accumulate knowledge and be accurate. It is not knowing and believing, but believing and knowing (verse 69).
Faith is paramount. Love is not true love unless faith is presupposed, and knowledge is not self-owned unless faith is presupposed. Faith makes precious things more precious and good things better. Only when we have strong faith can we go on the path of a pioneer, and eventually we will receive the blessing of believing in Jesus and becoming a person.
