Title: The Blessing of Meeting
Contents
Text: Luke 10:30-37
People should live happily.
Among the blessings to be enjoyed, there are various blessings, the representative of which are material blessings, the blessings of meeting people, and spiritual blessings, Yeongbok. Today, I would like to share the grace of Inbok among them.
Life starts with meeting.
The kind of parents you meet will have a huge impact on your life. Siblings should also get along well. Abel was killed because he did not meet his brother Cain. Also, hearing the news of a major accident due to a neighbor's fight, we realize that we need to meet our neighbors as well.
The Bible also says this. In Genesis 12, Lot received great blessings when he was with Abraham, but after he left Abraham and moved to Sodom and Gomorrah, he was judged by brimstone and lost his wife and property, and was in a rut. Genesis 39 testifies that Potiphar, the captain of Pharaoh's guard of Egypt, was blessed because of Joseph.
From these evidences, we can see that some people benefit others and others harm others.
Let's confess together with the saints next to us.
“Let’s get along with people. We met well”
It has been 22 years since Suwon Shepherd Church was founded, and I have met many people. Among them, there are those who have moved away from you now, those who are discouraged in the middle, and those who have left for various reasons. During my encounters with thousands of people, I have been able to classify the saints into several categories.
1. There are people who are devoted enough to be respected even by pastors and struggle to live by faith.
2. They have the face of faith and know the case, so they do their own thing in their own way and lead a life of faith.
As a group who attends well and lives a life of giving, they live a life of faith without any flaws as members. Generally, there are many such people in the church.
3. They are not zealous for their faith, but they regularly attend church and say, “I am a member of the church.”
There are people who live a religious life in moderation and comfort according to their circumstances, but they still attend church even though they are burdened with zeal.
4. They are people who object, criticize, and assert themselves if the conditions are met, whether it is a problem or not because they do not have a pod.
These people are not perfect in their faith, and they do not receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, so they live by looking at people rather than the Lord.
Dear saints,
Dear members of Shepherd Church,
