Title: Blessings of those who cover their faults. Verse: Genesis 9:18-27
As believers in Jesus, we must always be tolerant of others' mistakes and mistakes, and we must strive to live a life that always covers and covers others' faults.
First, why should we live while forgiving others and covering our faults?
The reason is because we realize the very simple truth that, in fact, it is not elsewhere, but because my own faults and, by extension, my sins must also be forgiven.
It seems that there are some people who think that the reason to live by covering up their faults and forgiving is just one of the beautiful virtues of a believer, and not so much.
But I'm telling you, ultimately, it's important to remember clearly that it's because I myself have to be forgiven and have my sins and transgressions covered in the future.
{Forgive is the only way to be forgiven; only to be set free on earth to be set free in heaven} Didn't the Lord say clearly?
{Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us} First I forgive others,
When I can cover my transgressions, only then did the Lord promise to forgive my sins and cover my transgressions.
Even when I'm still, I'm rather blaming others for their faults and mistakes.
Where is the time when God said that He would forgive my sins and transgressions even though I was exposed and never forgiven or graciously done.
It is the same mistake and error as the one who owes ten thousand talents. In Matthew 18:35, the Lord made clear the meaning of this parable:
{In the future, God will not forgive you your sins in the same way as you do, unless you forgive your brothers from the heart, each one of you from the heart.}
Saints! Do you want to receive forgiveness from God? Do you really want to be forgiven? If so, please forgive your close brother first.
It's not a big deal if you look at it, but if you quarrel, get angry, make enemies, build a wall, and live like that, over trivial things that aren't even worth 100 talents.
And yet, on the other hand, wouldn't it be impossible to offer such an abomination to God, forgive me for my sins that deserve death?
Don't criticize, lest you be criticized. With the criticism you criticize you will be judged. With the measure that you measure, it will be measured to you.
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not understand the log that is in you? Hypocrites, first take the log out of your eye, and then look clearly and remove the speck from your brother's eye
I hope you will humbly look back at yourself before the Word and stop making mistakes of criticizing, cursing, and exposing the faults of your foolish brother.
Second, the reason we have to cover up and forgive our brothers is in order to receive blessings.
There will be no one who hates to receive blessings. Those who say that I will be cursed without being blessed are of course fine, but we all want to be blessed.
But in order to be blessed, you have to do things that will bring you blessings. Then, what is the thing to be blessed with? We must be like Shem and Japheth, who cover their transgressions.
One day after the flood, Noah drank wine and got very drunk. I made the mistake of taking a nap after taking off my clothes when I was drunk.
Admittedly, alcohol always drives people by mistake, so I don't know if the Bible forbids alcohol. The first person to see his father sleeping naked and drunk was the first one (1)
It was Noah's younger son, Ham, and as soon as he saw it, he opened it up and told his brothers, and he was in a fuss.
However, when Shem and Japheth heard this news, they took the clothes and put them on their shoulders, so that they would not see their father's naked body, they went backwards and covered them up to cover their shame.
Now- Now, the father Noah wakes up and hears the report of the incident, and the judgment will come. That is, the judgmental of those who openly confess their transgressions, and on the contrary, those who cover and cover their transgressions.
The contents of curses and blessings are found in verse 25 and below. Cursed is Canaan, who became the servant of his brothers, but he who covered his transgressions.
Shem and Japheth are the crossroads of the amazing destiny of blessings and curses, praying to God that God will make them great and that they may enjoy the glory of making Canaan a slave.
Father's judgmental prayer has been fulfilled throughout human history after that.
In conclusion, dear saints! Do you want to be blessed?
Psalm 32:1 (Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sins are covered)
If that is the case, then when you discover your brother's faults or mistakes, please do not bring it up and talk about it.
I hope that you will be a person who quietly covers, covers, and covers those faults. God bless such people.
Not only that, please do not forget that God has promised such people that in the future, He will forgive our sins and cover them up in the judgment seat of the kingdom of heaven.
