Title: The Blessing of the Tabernacle!
Contents
Bible: Exodus 26:1-14, 31-37 / Topic: Blessing of the tabernacle!
If you know the book of Exodus, you will see life.
To see, to hear, to know, to go down, to rescue, to lead, to take away (Exodus 3:7-8)?
“I will avoid stinging and symmetrical with bravery”
(Avoid criticizing, criticizing, complaining, forgive, thank, smile, say hello, talk, praise)
The purpose of the Christian life is to enter the Holy of Holies where God is, see God, and be transformed into the image of His glory. It was impossible in the Old Testament, but in the New Testament, it was made possible through the Holy Spirit who came through the cross, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus. We must constantly grow and deepen, starting from the experience of entering through the door and experiencing salvation, to the glory of being transformed into that divine image (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).
Therefore, through today's text
First, there is a purpose for which the tabernacle was given. That God may dwell in His image, His children and heirs, Israel (Exodus 25:8).
He is a God who meets with humans in a specific way and place.
? It is the God who appeared to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden when the day was cool. (Genesis 3:8)
? God appeared to Moses in the flames of a bush (Exodus 3:4).
It is God who appeared in front of the people of Israel as a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire. (Exodus 13:21)
?After the construction of the tabernacle, God was present in the clouds above the tabernacle. (Exodus 40:38)
? It is God who was present in Solomon's temple during the dedication ceremony.
He is the God who dwells among men through Jesus Christ. (Heb 1:1-3)
?After Christ finished His work on earth and ascended to heaven, He is the God who dwells in us through the Holy Spirit as our body as a temple. (John 1:14,16)
Second, the structure of the tabernacle typifies the figure of Jesus.
The tabernacle looked unsightly from the outside because of the sea otter's skin, but the inside was very beautiful and glorious. The first covering, which made up the ceiling of the tabernacle, was made of finely braided linen and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and cherubs were embroidered on it.
This is an aspect of the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ. The linen cloth represents the holiness of the Lord, the blue color is the Lord who came from heaven, the purple color is the Lord of kings, the red color is the Lord who will save life through the suffering of the cross of the Lord and come again to rule with power and authority, and the white color is the authority of death. It represents the Lord of holiness who has been broken and resurrected.
It also shows the life and appearance of the born-again saints. God is still embroidering the saved people of God with holy glory. Christians may seem crude and harsh in the eyes of the world because they have many restrictions and many commands to do. But the more you go inside, the more sacred images are carved. Those many wounds and pains are transformed into beautiful shapes as time goes by.
There is abundance. There is supply and enjoyment. There is participation in God's food. Divine light in the lighthouse, the gospel of the feast, the multicolored embroidered glory and nobility and depth and breadth and abundance. There are visions, abilities, and beauties. There is a deep and mysterious feeling with the Lord that we enjoy in Christ. When they go out because of the gift, fruit, and experience of the Holy Spirit, they have the glory and power of God, and when they go out because of that glory, the light of the holy glory appears on their faces, and they live as a royal priest as God's agent. I bless you as the main character of this blessing and become a channel of blessing.
