Title: The Blessing of Tithing

Content Management of material is very important in the life of faith. The Lord said that a saint cannot serve God and money at the same time, and he gave a lesson in using money rightly.

Even though they know that God's blessings are directly related to tithing, there are some who do not practice it, while others do not.

You can guess a person's character by looking at the use of their wealth. No matter how wealthy he may be, he who does not know how to use it for good and holy works is a poor man. No matter how difficult life may be, those who know how to use their wealth rightly are affluent people.

1. Those who have not experienced blessings through tithing do not like the story of tithing.

The blessings of tithing are bound to follow. Rockefello, the world's richest man, started tithing at the age of eight, becoming the world's richest person to help everyone.

A wife named Lissel Sage has been giving tithes with faith since she was receiving $200 a year as a teacher, giving her more than $100 million in offerings throughout her life.

Some believers say that when we do not put happiness in the increase of wealth, but when we put happiness in the increase of tithing, that wealth becomes a complete blessing.

Tithing is not an offering, but an offering of God's things to God. In other words, a tithe is a tithe, not an offering.

A certain believer confessed that God, who was far away from me, started tithing and felt that God was closest to me and was in my life to guide and bless me.

(1) Tithing was established for the benefit of the giver.

It is not that God is asking because he is in need, but that he is asking for more.

(2) Tithing was established for material prosperity.

Dr. Charles said that the results of a survey of 200 tithing believers showed that they became more prosperous and happier after tithing.

(3) Tithing was established for spiritual prosperity.

Tithing makes your spiritual life clear. It is also possible to lead a life of faith that is full of vitality.

2. Biblical basis and purpose for tithing.

First, it is biblical.

1) Since God, who has given us material things, requires us to tithe, we must give it to us (Leviticus 27:30).

2) Abraham gave tithes out of what he got, and Jacob gave because he believed that he got it, so we must also give by faith (Genesis 14:18-20, Genesis 28:10).

3) Moses and the prophets Malachi also mentioned (Leviticus 27:34 Mal 3:8-12)

4) Jesus acknowledged it and the apostle Paul spoke the word (Luke 11:42 1 Corinthians 16:2)

5) The tithe was paid by the king, the Levites, the prophets, and the chosen people (1 Samuel 8:15, Num 18:26-28)

Second, why do we pay tithing?

1) We must give thanks for the grace of redemption.

2) We must be thankful for the grace and blessings that have been given to us up to this day.

3) We must give in obedience to the Word.

4) You must believe that He will fill you up and give.

5) You must give for the expansion of God's work.

The seed of faith can be said to be a tithe, but if you eat the seed, it cannot germinate and cannot bear fruit.

3. Blessed are those who pay tithing.

Malachi 3:10 says, “Put your whole tithe into a storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and with it test me, see, pouring out so that I may open the gates of heaven and store you a blessing.”

There is only one place in the Bible that says, “Look at the test.”

Giving tithing brings the following blessings:

1) You will receive spiritual blessings. Tithing is an honest expression of the spiritual life.

2) You will receive the blessing of your heart. God said, “Look, it is not poured out so that there is no room for building up.” Dr. Crosswell said, "If I don't pay tithing, when God collects the tithe, the money screams at me and causes me pain and runs away."

3) You will also receive material blessings. The text says, “If you tithe, you will prevent locusts and prevent the fruit from falling before the due date, and you will make the land you live in beautiful and blessed.”

4) It is said that God's grace and peace will increase. When you tithe in the text, it says, “The nations will call you blessed because the land is beautiful.”

This year, I pray that you will become a family full of vitality by receiving God's blessing with the faith of tithing. Sunday morning, January 14, 2007
