Title: The Branch Has Crossed the Wall
Contents
Its branches have crossed the wall (Genesis 49:22-26).
From time immemorial, our ancestors longed for blessings.
So, he wrote the letter of blessing on many places such as the door of the house and the spoon and futon, and he desperately wanted that blessing to come to his family.
But blessings can only be received from God.
Because God is the source of blessing.
Although many people of faith are introduced in the Bible, the scene of blessing Jacob's 12 sons before Jacob's death is recorded in Genesis.
Although the twelve sons were promised blessings from their fathers, the son who was promised the greatest blessing among the twelve sons was Joseph.
Through the word of God today, the blessings Joseph received.... I pray in the name of the Lord that you will receive blessings from heaven above and from the deep spring below. I hope that God's blessing will come as your faith matures, your family prospers, and your children prosper.
First, Joseph called it a lush branch by a spring. (verse 22)
In the Bible, springs, wells, streams, and rain represent the grace of God.
Even desert land full of sand turns into loam when water is supplied.
Without God, without our Lord, my life was a desert.
Our life was like a desert with nothing but heat, dust and desolate.
However, in our desert-like life, God's grace came upon us and we became the most blessed life in this world.
I hope you are thankful that we are already running to the life of blessing by meeting the Lord, out of the desert-like life.
Because Joseph was planted by the fountain of God's grace, he is a lush branch that never withers and never withers. A lush branch can bear a lot of fruit. It is clear why Joseph must bear much fruit.
Because it can be planted next to the fountain of God's grace, so that it can produce lush branches that never wither. (Verse 22, that is, the lush branches by the spring...)
I want you to be as lush branches as Joseph.
I hope that your home will be a home planted by the fountain of God's grace so that, among the many families of the world, a lush branch will grow, and the lush branch may be blessed with much fruit.
If you keep looking at verse 22, what happened to that lush branch? He said he crossed the wall.
It wasn't just the branches that stood on the inside of my wall, but how lush it was that the branches had an impact beyond the wall and even outside the wall.
So what will be the result? These days, the world is tough, and it is a time of great trouble if you touch the fruits of other people's trees.
You can see that this blessing comes true as the word says.
Like a branch over a wall, Joseph’s blessings went beyond his father’s land, the land of Canaan, and extended to Egypt, where he had crossed.
The covenant God had made to Abraham, “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you and make you great” was fulfilled to Joseph.
In this way, Joseph became a lush branch and benefited many people.
From the time he was a slave, Joseph exerted a beneficial and good influence in Potiphar's house, in prison, and wherever he went.
After that, he became the prime minister of Egypt, and became a blessed person who took care of his father, his brothers, and even his brothers' children.
He also saved many Egyptians from famine.
Jacob's blessing was fulfilled in Joseph. Hallelujah~!!
We believe that people of faith should become people of luxuriant branches, like Joseph. Through Deuteronomy 28, God promised blessings to those who depend on Him.
“You will be blessed when you come in, and you will be blessed when you go out” (Deuteronomy 28:6).
“He will make you the head and not the tail, only above and not below…” (Deuteronomy 28:13).
Joseph was a man who enjoyed God's blessing as it was.
Beloved, will you not be greedy for this Joseph's blessing?
This blessing may come to you as well.
Grow into a tree that can be planted by the river of God's grace, never wither even when it dries, and is supplied with living water from the river of God every day, capable of bearing fruit in abundance. So that I can take root and live by the river of grace, I ask that you do not stop working to bring me to the Lord.
Then God will make your tree grow into a tree of spiritual influence that benefits many people beyond the fence.
In the name of the Lord, I earnestly pray in the name of the Lord that Joseph's blessing may come to all of you, and that you will become people of blessing who spread God's blessings to all areas of your life.
