Title: The Called Life / Galatians 1:1-5
There are many different types of human life. When I see people living in different colors, they say 'there are many qualities'. Indeed, people live by seeing that there are many different qualities and different types of life. Since people are alive and have different personalities, of course, the way we live can be different, who can blame it? No matter what you eat, what you look like, and how you live, the way you live is just different. You are wrong because you were like this. Can you do that?
However, living in different ways is one's own individuality, and it has nothing to do with how one lives, as it is one's own subjective opinion, but the important thing is to live a rewarding and valuable life as a person with character.
Man, created in the image of God, is the supreme of all creation, and because he was created with God's special design and workmanship, he should never live without meaning, without value, nor should he be spent in vain. In the face of death, the last of life, we should not say, 'Ah, it is useless,' and, as I said on Wednesday, it should not be a life where you just go to the bathroom or go to the bathroom.
(A story of a man while increasing the bathroom - A woman with terminal cancer, who has only a few days left to live, complains that he can't die. When I asked why he couldn't die, he rented a communal bathroom at the beginning of marriage and lived in a communal bathroom. I worked hard to save money and moved to a detached house with a bathroom, and after a while it was uncomfortable, so I did not look back and saved money to prepare an apartment, and again I bought an apartment with a separate bathroom for the couple. She has been diagnosed with cancer, after all, this woman has spent her entire life increasing the toilet until now.) How vain would it be? What is his worth as a person of character? Of course, you can say that you lived a hard life, but you cannot say that you lived a worthwhile life.
How can I live a life that is worthwhile and worthwhile?
Life can be divided into three main types.
1. It is a passing life.
A person who lives day by day without meaning. Why do you have to live, where do you come from and where do you go? It just goes by as the years go by. Maybe I don't know if I'm living well. Rather than living in the midst of all kinds of worries and anxieties, it seems like a good way of life to live by thinking, 'How are you going to be like, how are you going to be? Even if a person lives one day, one has to know the meaning of why they live, what to do, and where to go. If they live like this, can it be called a life with character? You must not live like this. Especially, the Christian life is not like this.
2. It is a life of being chased.
If you put it in a good way, you can say 'a person who lives hard'. Many people are living this kind of life, and there are some leftovers in this life. Because he lived diligently and hard work, his possessions increased, he acquired knowledge, and he gained status, but he also lost a lot. It seems that a corner of my heart has been ripped open. I have lost my mind because I have been living so crazy. Saying I'm out of my mind is empty, empty, and when I look back, why did I do that? I feel like I have to come to my senses and live my life according to the judgment of my reason. Looking back, I live only as a slave to work, a slave to money, a slave to my children, a slave to work, a slave to success, and a slave to people.
The first five commandments that God gave after creating man were “Be fruitful, multiply, be full, subdue, and rule” (Genesis 1:28). There are no orders, but they are conquered and enslaved. Don't live this life. Again, this is not the Christian life either.
3. This is the life you are called to.
All human beings are creatures of God, so they are created according to the will of God. Of course, all creation was not created in vain, but according to God's will, but especially man was created to show God's glory and was called by him.
Therefore, the most important consciousness a person should have is to know that “I am the life that God has called”.
why do you live The first answer to this question is, "Because God has called me." This is called vocational consciousness.
Why are you here? 'How did you come to this place!' Not because God has called you to this place.
A business card is to let others know, 'I am this kind of person'. Some people's business cards are filled with past and present careers. You can see what you wrote down, such as the former president, the former director, the current chairman, and the president.
In fact, even before Paul became an apostle, his business cards were splendid. A Jew among the Jews, a Pharisee among the Pharisees, one who was proficient in mathematics and the law under Gamaliel, etc. However, after believing in Jesus and being born again, all these things are regarded as excrement, and he said, "I am a man called by Jesus Christ and God who raised him from the dead." was introduced as
All people are useful and called of God. In particular, Christians are those who know exactly this and live.
Where have you been called to? 5 female evangelism members, please answer.
1) You are called to the family.
Who paired you up with your husband? You are God. In other words, God established a family and gave children as gifts.
You have been called by God into your home now.
Why did you call me home? What did you call me to do? You are called to make your home into heaven. But is there anyone who has made it into hell? Wasn't it made with a gourmet factory? Aren't there husbands who made them into boarding houses? Aren't there husbands you made into your own kingdom?
Home should be a little paradise.
Psalm 128:1-4 "Blessed are all who fear the Lord and walk in his ways. You will eat the work of your hands, and you will be happy and prosperous. Your wife in your house is like a fruitful vine, and your table is like a vine." Children who sit around in the garden are like young olive trees. So blessed are those who fear the LORD."
In order to make a home into heaven, we need to have the owner of the home as God, create an atmosphere so that the whole family can live in the fear of God, and work together. God has called you into your home and you are called to make your home a heaven. Without this sense of calling, the family becomes hell.
2) You are called to the church.
The Bible compares the church to a human body. Christ is the head, and all the saints are parables with the members that make up the body, so that even the smallest member of the body is useless, and the members are connected to each other and each perform their own roles according to the direction of the head. Just as a healthy body is formed, the church also glorifies God by forming a healthy church and a beautiful church because the members are connected to each other by the Holy Spirit and perform their roles according to the instructions of Christ.
Today's church members lack this sense of calling. You are neglecting your role as a member. Each and every one of you is important. You are not stuck here as you flow, you are not being chased and fled to this place for a while, but you are the ones who were called to this church by the Lord, the Lord of all things. So it's very important. Do your best in this church.
Ladies and gentlemen, members of the 5 Women who are attending today's dedication service, you are very important to this church in your family as you have been called by God. Because of you alone, churches fall down and are built up. It is the same with all saints. I hope that you will live the life you are called to, not a life that flows and is not chased, so that God's will is pleasing, and that your life will be enriched.
