Title: The Certainty of Jesus' Second Coming

Contents br> A few years ago, there were a group of heretics who shouted that Jesus would come back to this earth at the time of ○Mon, ○Day. This false claim, started by a strange person, has left the Korean Christian world in chaos like a honeycomb.

“First you must know this: in the last days mockers will come and walk after their own lusts, mockingly and saying, Where is the promise of the coming of the Lord? “There is” (2 Peter 3:3-4).

“Will Jesus return? Or will you not?”

Because if “Jesus’ Second Coming” is false, “Jesus’ incarnation”, “Jesus’ atoning death for all people”, “Resurrecting the third day and ascending into heaven” would all be false. The Bible is not the only lie. Jesus will be the biggest religious deceiver among religious deceivers, and his disciples will be unfortunate people who ended up giving their lives after being deceived by the liars.

Let's look at the words of the Bible about the Second Coming of Jesus.

First, it is a record of what Jesus prophesied about His Second Coming when He was in this world in the flesh.

“The Son of Man comes with his angels in the glory of the Father” (Matthew 16:27)

“As lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:27).

“They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with power and great glory” (Matthew 24:30).

“In the same way, when you see all these things, know that the Son of Man is near, even at the door” (Matthew 24:33).

“So shall the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:39).

“On what day shall your Lord come” (Matthew 24:42).

“The Son of Man will come at an unexpected hour” (Matthew 24:44)

“You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven” (Matthew 26:64).

“I am coming soon” (Revelation 3:11)

“Behold, I am coming like a thief” (Revelation 16:15).

“Behold, I am coming soon, and blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book” (Revelation 22:7).

“Behold, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay each one according to what he has done” (Revelation 22:12).

“He who testifies of these things says, ‘Surely, I am coming soon’” (Revelation 22:20).

The angels also testified about the Second Coming of Jesus.

“When he had finished saying these things, he went up from their sight, and a cloud covered him, so that he could not see. As he was going up, the disciples were looking closely at the sky, and two men in white robes stood by them and said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing up and looking at the sky? Do you look? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way you saw him go into heaven” (Acts 1:9-11).

The second coming of Jesus was also testified by the apostles of Jesus.

“In the same way Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, and will appear a second time, free of sin, for salvation to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:28).

“Let your generosity be known to all, for the Lord is near” (Philippians 4:5).

“After a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay” (Hebrews 10:37).

“Be patient with the way and be strong, for the coming of the Lord is near” (James 5:8).

“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the coming of the Lord, who will bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will reveal the will of the heart, and at that time each will receive praise from God” (1 Corinthians 4:5).

“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, by his appearing and by his kingdom” (2 Timothy 4:1).

“Enoch, the seventh son of Adam, also prophesied of the men, saying, Behold, the Lord has come with ten thousands of holy ones, to judge all, and to deal with all the ungodly deeds of all ungodly that he might condemn sinners for all their harsh words against the Lord” (Jude 1:14-15).

“It is the justice of God to reward you with sabbaths with us in affliction, for those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus, He will punish them” (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8).

“He will come on that day, and will be glorified by his saints, and will be marveled at by everyone who believes” (2 Thessalonians 1:10).

“Then the lawless one will appear, and the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth, and will bring an end to his coming and appearing” (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

“It was not according to cleverly crafted stories that we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we ourselves have seen his majesty” (2 Peter 1:16).

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, when the heavens will depart with a loud roar, and the elements will be dissolved with scorching fire, and the earth and everything that is on it will be revealed” (2 Peter 3:10)

When will Jesus return? In response to this, many heretics have claimed that Jesus will return on the day of ○, ○, ○, ○. Jehovah's Witnesses said that Jesus would return in 1874, but when it was wrong, it was corrected (?) to 1914, but it was wrong again. Adventists spoke of 24 hours on October 24, 1992, and extremist dispensationalists prophesied (?) to 1988 or AD 2000 or 2001. This should never happen again, but in the future, other plausible “disturbing people” will appear and cry countless times “Jesus is coming again” on ○Mon ○ ○Year.

What does the Bible say about this? In a word, he said, “I don’t know.”

“As lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:27).

“But that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matthew 24:36).

“Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord will come, for you also know that if the owner of the house had known at what point the thief was coming, he would have been awake and would not have broken through the house” (Matthew 24:42-43).

“Therefore, be ready, for the Son of Man comes at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:44).

“The master of the servant came on an unexpected day and at an hour unknown” (Matthew 24:50).

“Therefore, be on the alert, for you do not know the day or the hour” (Matthew 25:13).

“Therefore, be ready, for the Son of Man comes at an hour you do not expect” (Luke 12:40).

“For yourselves know fully that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night” (1 Thessalonians 5:2).

“Behold, I am coming like a thief, and blessed is anyone who watches and keeps his garments, and walks not naked, and shows no shame” (Revelation 16:15)

Even Jesus in the flesh said, “Even the Son of Man does not know” when He was on this earth. This means that “the day of the second coming of Jesus” is a mystery only to God the Father. However, according to the Bible, we believe that Jesus
