Exodus 2:18-25
18. And when they came to their father Reuel, their father said to them, “Why are you returning so quickly today?
19. And they said, An Egyptian rescued us from the hand of the shepherds, and drew water for us and fed the flocks.
20. The father said to his daughters, "Where is the man, and why have you left him? Invite him to serve him with food."
21. And Moses rejoiced to live with him, and he gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses.
22. And he gave birth to a son, and Moses called his name Gershom, saying, "Because I am a stranger in a foreign land."
23. After many years the king of Egypt died, and the children of Israel groaned and cried because of their torment, and a cry came up to God because of their toil.
24. When God heard the sound of his suffering, he remembered the covenant he made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
25. He counseled the children of Israel.
Ephesians 4:7-16
7. To each of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8. Therefore it is said, When he ascended on high, he captured the captives and gave gifts to men.
9. Since it is said that he has ascended, what is it, except that he descended to the bottom of the earth
10. He who descended is the one who ascended above all heaven, that he might fill all things.
11. And he gave them as apostles, or prophets, or evangelists, or pastors and teachers.
12. This is to equip the saints for the work of service, for the building up of the body of Christ.
13. And we will all become one in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, until we become a perfect man, until we are full of the stature of the stature of Christ.
14. This is so that we will no longer be children, that we may not be carried away and tossed by every wind of doctrine, falling into the trickery of men and the deceitful temptations
15. But speaking the truth in love, you may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, which is Christ.
16. From him the whole body, with the help of each joint, connects and unites, and it grows and builds itself up in love according to the work of each part according to the measure of each part.

Title: The Church is the Family of God
Text: Exodus 2:18-25, Ephesians 4:7-16
“Church like family, family like church” is the motto of the Christian Family Ministry Committee (Gigayeon). “The family as the church and the church as the home” also have the same meaning. Of course, the home and church mentioned here presupposes a community that is not sick and is thus doing its job.
A healthy church and a healthy family are the same words. The home is the work of the Creator (Genesis 2:18-25). The church is the work of the Savior (Matthew 16:13-20). “It is not good for a man to be alone; I will make him a helper matchmaker” (Genesis 2:18). Unlike the Genesis 1 account (Genesis 1:26), it is a scene where the Creator makes decisions. Sometimes experiencing loneliness and endless solitude are not the same thing. The word ‘solitude’ here refers to endless solitude. The family was the Creator's prescription for loneliness. However, that family becomes the target of Satan's attack. The tragedy of Eden is the story of Paradise Lost (Genesis 3). The promise of overcoming that tragedy is the original gospel (Genesis 3:15). It is a promise that the offspring of the woman will bruise the serpent's head. This is the story of the declaration that the Lord will establish His church (Matthew 16:13-20). As in Eden, he expected Satan's interference. But you said victory.
“On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it” (Matthew 16:18b). He said that the authority of Hades will be defeated through the church that the Lord is establishing. This is why healthy families and healthy churches are mentioned together. In God's work of salvation, a healthy church and a healthy family are inseparable. This is because the completion of salvation lies in the realization of a healthy family through a healthy church.
Today's New Testament text (Ephesians 4:7-16) is about the life of each member of the church following the doctrine of the church (Ephesians 1:-3:). It is a code of conduct that believers who are called to be members of the church must have with each other (Ephesians 4:1).
It is ‘unity based on diversity’ (Ephesians 4:1-6) and ‘response to the call according to the fulfillment of roles as members’ (Ephesians 4:7-16). The ‘grace’ (charis) in verse 7 is used in the meaning of ‘gift’ (karsma), unlike ‘the grace of salvation’ (Ephesians 2:5,8) given to all believers.
The grace of salvation is given to all believers without discrimination, but the gifts that Christ gives to each saint together with the Holy Spirit vary from person to person (1 Corinthians 12:4-31). The various gifts given to the members of the faith are for the training of love. It is the realization of love through the training of mutual acceptance, mutual forgiveness, and mutual harmony.
This is why the church entrusts its offices to the saints in the name of the Lord. The community of true love is what the Creator intended, and it is to train the heavenly family in the future.
This is to encourage them to participate in the training to love and be loved by entrusting them to their offices while thinking of the gifts that the Lord gave to the saints through the Holy Spirit. 1) To perfect the saints. 2) It is for the purpose of doing volunteer work. 3) To build up the body of Christ. All members of the faith must uphold this will.
Each member trains together (perfection), labors together (service), and grows and matures together (building up the body of Christ) (Eph 4:11-14). There are no exceptions to the training of ‘Together Together’. This is because, if there is an exception, you will lose that much health (Ephesians 4:15-16).
