old age secrets

(Ephesians 6: 1-3)

First, old people become lonely.

In old age, people usually retire from their jobs and workplaces, and it is frustrating when they leave their jobs and workplaces. When you come home, how lonely are you because you can’t see all of them every day? (…) When old friends and family members pass away, you feel very lonely every time you do that. (…) If you don’t tell me, you will be lonely. a lot. It's good to greet you often, share news, and become friends. In this sense, Senior University is a very good university that relieves loneliness one day a week.

Second, there are a lot of things that are very painful when you get older.

Especially for health. I am very distressed by this because all my bodily functions are weakened, my eyesight, hearing, memory, and walking ability are weakened. There are so many leftovers, I can't even list them all.

Third, when you get older, you become poorer.

When you grow old without time to prepare and have no income, you are bound to be poor. There are many poor old people. There is a sense of poverty among the elderly because they have no fixed income and have to spend at least what they need. That is why, when children come, they prefer bags rather than fruits.(…)

Fourth, when you get old, you have a secret worry in your heart.

Usually, when we get sick, we worry that this will lead to death.(…) Whenever we have a chance, let’s help us hope that there is a heavenly kingdom for those who believe.(…) We, the elderly, believe themselves well and put away our worries. We must help our children and juniors in many ways to let go of their worries in the faith and see them happily.

Fifth, it is easy to become frustrated and angry when we get old.

All of this is felt inside, so it is felt a lot even though it does not appear outward. Older people get upset when other people see them as worthless. It makes me sad to hear unkind or slightly twisted language.(…) The reason I like the senior college is that it sees, talks, and treats you warmly. Let's treat it warmly as usual.

When you come to No-Nyeon University, all these aspects are filled, so you can always look forward to it and enjoy the day. You started this senior college, so you did a great job. I hope that you will be the ones who respect and treat your parents and the elderly with love, both at home and on the streets.(…) Let's take care of parents and adults right away with love. There's this kind of annoyance. Let the elderly themselves overcome through faith, and their children and juniors will understand and give them strength, and let the church continue to provide strength through senior colleges, etc. Amen
