Title: The commemorated blessing / Romans 16:1~4
Contents Memorial Blessed / Romans 16:1~4
First, it's Beevo. Phoebe is a church worker (verse 1). People who live a life of faith are workers of the church doing the work of God. There are talkers, spectators, and workers in the church. If there are many talkers, the church will be tested. If there are many bystanders, the church will have no strength. If there are many workers, the church will become strength, and the strong work of the Holy Spirit will be revealed through these people. A woman you see. Most of the world discriminates between men and women. But there is no discrimination in the church. When it comes to doing God's work, regardless of man or woman, anyone who has received the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit takes the initiative. Also, the Bible says, “He has become a guardian of many and of me” (v. What does it mean to be a guardian? It means that he served many people and the apostle Paul, who was carrying out the work of God , with material things.
Second, Priscilla and Aquila (verses 3-4). These people are married (Acts 18:2). It is precious to be able to lead a life of faith alone, but when it is decisive, you cannot gain strength. As the saying goes, “One person will lose, but two people can handle it. A threefold cord is not easily broken.” As the saying goes, the strength of a couple is stronger than the strength of a single person. These are Paul's co-workers. The word co-worker means a person who works together. The Bible says that Christ is the head, and each of the saints is a member of it. After meeting the risen Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus, the Apostle Paul did only God's work all his life. Therefore, Priscilla and Aquila were co-workers in God's work. They were the ones who laid down their necks for Paul's life (verse 4).
Many people like dogs because they are loyal to their owners. In any situation, when the owner calls the dog, ‘Where are you going? It is dark, tired, far away,” he obeys without making excuses. He is loyal with all his might and loves with his tail. How much did Priscilla and Aquila love Jesus, and what did the Holy Spirit do in their hearts and risk their lives for the work of God? We'll have to think about it. This life is a commemoration.
