Title: Conflict of the Reborn
Gal 5:17-18 ‘17. The lusts of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the Spirit is against the flesh, because these two oppose each other, so that you cannot do what you want. 18. If you are led by the Spirit, you will not be under the law.
Is it normal for those who believe in Jesus to always have a joyful spirit?
For those who live by listening to the preacher's sermon that understands the gospel's meaning as living positively, 1 Thessalonians 5:16 'always rejoice' may seem like a verse representative of the Bible, but joy is not just laughter as we usually think, Neh 8: 10 '...rejoicing in the Lord', Gal 5:22 'But the fruit of the Spirit is love and joy and ..' Rejoicing in God in the Holy Spirit.
Also, optimists won't remember the words of James 4:9: "Mourn and mourn and weep; turn your laughter into mourning, and your joy into sorrow." From the biblical point of view, in order to have the effect of the gospel, we must first look back on our sinful self and grieve before we can rejoice.
1. Regenerates worry about sin
Believers believe in the blood of Jesus Christ, repent and receive atonement to receive eternal life, and they live their lives with the spiritual tension of fighting sin. If you do not have such a spirit or have the misconception that there is no need for it, then you must be a person who has not been saved or the future of your soul is bleak even if you are saved.
Galatians 5:17 “For the lust of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit is against the flesh, because the two oppose each other, so that you cannot do what you want.”
Conflict is the act of resisting the holy guidance of the Holy Spirit, preventing you from doing what you want as a saint. Normal people living in the world should be able to think about even minor sins. The old people harden the conscience of their sinful self and live as if they were innocent.
2 Timothy 3:13 “Evil men and deceivers are getting worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
2. The way to resolve conflict is through the Holy Spirit
When Christians struggle with sin and transgression, it is not just that they memorize Bible verses like a mantra and say Amen. Belief is not just about recognizing.
Romans 8:1-2 ‘1. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (so far it is only a covenant) 2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
Galatians 5:18 says, “If you are led by the Holy Spirit, you are not under the law.” To be under the law means to be under the wrath of God.
Even members of the church suffer anxiety and suffering as a result of their sins without the influence of the Holy Spirit. Just as salvation begins with the work of the Holy Spirit in the beginning, we must continue to live according to the Word of the Holy Spirit in our lives and strive to obtain peace and miracles about it.
Galatians 5:16 “I tell you, walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”
