Title: The Crucifixion / Galatians 2:11-21
Contents Crucifixion (Galatians 2:11-21) - Lesson 3
Everyone knows that believers are saved by faith, not works. It is the basic spirit of Christianity today that the cross saves us and that no one can be saved except through the cross. But how much do you think these stories play in our lives? In fact, if a believer knows that he cannot be saved except through the cross, and if all hope is in the kingdom of God, it is natural for the believer to live a life that is completely ruled by the cross. Because if a person finds something more valuable than what he currently holds, it is natural to throw away what is not worth now. However, it is clearly not the case with the faith we are living in now. It is not a life that has thrown away one thing, it is just a form of adding another to one's current life. That is, they want to be guaranteed both the present and the future. It is not that we are talking about the cross because we like the cross, but because it is said that only the cross can save us, so it is inevitable to speak of the cross.
If you are a believer in the blood of the Lord, you must let the Lord live in you. I do not live, but the Lord lives, so only the Lord's must come out. But our lives are all wrapped up in our own. My heart is filled with all my desires and my desires. The hope of the Lord is not in my mind. Can you say that this is the image of believing in the blood of the cross?
It has been said too many times that a person is justified by faith in Jesus Christ. He who overlooks these words thinks of himself as having faith. But you have to discover in yourself each and every disbelief. You have to discover your unbelief that you do not believe in the Lord, believe in yourself, and believe in money more. And we need to meditate more deeply on what it means to believe in the blood of the Lord.
Let us never try to rebuild what Jesus destroyed with the blood of the cross. Believers only need to believe in the cross. We must never forget that our actions of faith cannot be the criterion for attaining righteousness. The Old Testament already testifies that man cannot be saved by works of faith. That is why Jesus came to this earth and died. He said that He would not bury our sins because of His blood. We must fill our hearts with the love of God, donate with that poem, serve, and do acts of faith. When that happens, love is shown in it. This is for me to die and become the precious people of the kingdom of God who live by the love of the blood of the Lord who lives anew in me.
