Title: The demands of the law
Contents
The law given through Moses condemned men and put all men to death. It is like the evidence that it is written, “It is appointed for man to die once...” (Hebrews 9:27).
Therefore, the Bible testifies that the law is “a death sentence carved in stone,” and it is testifying that the ministry of Moses who received this law was “the ministry of condemnation.”
There is a requirement in the law, the corporation of sin and death, which God gave through Moses. It would be a lie to say in the Bible that people will always have faith, hope, and love if the law only rules over sin and death without the requirement of the law.
It is evening that makes up darkness, but in the evening there is a demand that it is necessarily morning. Therefore, in the text of the truth, "He called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day" (Genesis 1:5).
Sin demands righteousness and death demands life. Likewise, the law requires grace, and Moses requires Jesus Christ. Therefore, in the text of the truth, it is written, “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers, and you must listen to him” (Deuteronomy 18:15). It is this Moses who said that there will be a prophet like me” (Acts 7:37).
For this reason, the Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. He did it, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, condemning sin in the flesh, that the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1- 4) was written about the requirements of the law.
Regarding this, “If the office of death, written in stone, was also glorious, and the children of Israel did not notice Moses’ face because of the glory that was about to pass away, how much more would the ministry of the Spirit be more glorious? For if there is glory, the ministry of righteousness will abound in glory. For what was glorified was not to be glorified in this for greater glory; but since the passing away comes from glory, there is a way, all the more in glory. We say that we are not as Moses put a veil over his face, so that the children of Israel would not notice the end of what was to come. But their hearts are hardened, and even to this day, when they read the Old Testament, the veil is not removed. The veil will be taken away in Christ, and the veil has rather covered his heart as he read the writings of Moses to this day. But whenever he returns to the Lord, the veil will be taken off” (2 Corinthians 3:7-16).
To this day, the truth is about the requirements of the law, saying, “So the law has become a tutor to lead us to Christ, that we may be justified through faith. After faith came, we are no longer under a tutor. ’ (Galatians 3:24-25) is telling everyone.
This is the requirement of the law, the gospel acceptable to all, and praise to God in Christ Jesus forever. "He has exalted the horns of his people, to all the saints, to the children of Israel with whom he is friendly. Hallelujah." (Psalm 148:14) Amen, amen. Thank you Lord.
