Title: The Disaster Has Stopped
Contents
The plagues ceased (2 Samuel 24:18-25).
As a result of David's sin of taking the census, a plague spread throughout Israel for three days. 70,000 people died. However, today's Bible text concludes that How did the disaster come to an end? Through today's text, we can learn the secret of stopping the disasters that come in our lives, the secret of stopping tribulation, and the secret of solving problems.
1. We had a worship service.
The prophet Gad said to David: (18) So David accepted the words of the prophet Gad as it was. Arauna went to the threshing floor to get rid of the national disaster. An altar was built there. Today, we had a worship service. The reason why 70,000 people died of the plague ended the plague because David had a good worship service. Dear brothers and sisters, won't the suffering end? Please restore worship first. Do you feel unhappy? Turn misery into happiness through worship. God is looking for worshipers. He finds those who worship in spirit and in truth, solves problems, stops disasters, and sets off curses.
2. He paid a high price to bring David to an end.
David went to the threshing floor of Arauna. Just then, Arauna was threshing. When he saw the king coming to him, he fell to the ground and bowed down. David said. Arauna answered. At this time David said: And King David gave Araunah 50 silver shekels. We bought the site of this temple and gave it to God, and the disaster went away. Do you want your troubles and disasters to go away? I hope God pays the price. If you pay the price to God, God will bless you. If there is suffering, he will stop it. If there is a problem, we solve it. I hope you will believe that He will make the curse go away.
3. I repented.
David offered burnt offerings on the threshing floor of Araunah. A burnt offering is an offering of repentance. David repented of everything. The end of suffering begins with returning to God. Sin is not the problem, repentance is the problem. God accepts us no matter what sins we commit, if we repent. David paid a high price for his worship. And repented. God blessed David. The disaster has come to an end. So let's If you repent, your suffering will go away. The disaster is over.
Dear saints, let's leave poverty (strife, misfortune, trouble, disease, curse) away. He wants your sufferings (disasters) to end. Just like David. 1. We had a worship service. 2. You paid a high price. 3. I repented. 4. I made a new decision before God. Keeping today's message in mind, I pray that the disasters that are in you will stop.
