Discipline of love (Proverbs 3:12)
Animals also hold their young in their arms, breastfeed them, and nurture them with love.
And they fight for their lives to protect their cubs from enemy attacks.
Today, parents are thinking and praying about how to raise their children well.
The words of Proverbs 3 are instructing what and how to teach children.
First, parents should teach their children to live according to God's laws and commands from an early age.
This is the parent's responsibility. At that time, education was mainly conducted at home by parents.
Even today, home education is the most important because it sets the frame for life for children.
Then, your children will live a happy life with physical health and peace of mind.
Second, we must teach them to put the Word around their neck and practice it so as not to leave the Word of God's love and truth.
And we have to teach them diligently and repeatedly so that the Word can be engraved on our hearts.
If you do this, you will enjoy the blessings of God and live a beautiful life that is respected by people.
Third, we must teach them to depend on God with all their heart and pray.
The most courageous and confident people are those who trust in God and pray.
Then God will lead the children's paths like the good shepherd into green pastures and still waters.
Fourth, we must teach them not to be arrogant, but to fear God and turn away from evil.
If you do, your body, mind, and soul will be healthy and you will be able to carry out the mission God has given you.
If you are arrogant, you will turn away from God and fall into the sins of the world, and you will eventually perish.
Fifth, we must teach them to honor God with the first fruits of all income.
We should teach them to use them of value before they have them.
Then you will be blessed with a full storehouse and overflowing with new wine.
He does not borrow from others and helps his neighbors to live.
Sixth, if you do not listen to a lesson, you must discipline yourself with love.
Man has a sinful nature and needs rebuke and discipline.
“He who is not ready for his brilliance hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him diligently” (Proverbs 13:24)
“Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away” (Proverbs 22:15).
If we let small mistakes go, we will grow up and commit big sins.
In order not to beat your heart and regret later, you must discipline yourself with love.
The wise farmer mercilessly cuts off the twigs in order to obtain the finest fruit of the vine.
Religious education should teach parents to take responsibility and obey God's laws and commands from an early age.
When you do not listen, you must be disciplined with love.
Only then can we live according to God's will and enjoy the blessed life that God has promised.
