who is young What is the difference between the young and the old?
① People who dream (vision, mission) ② People who want to learn ③ People who want to take risks This is the characteristic of youth.
1. Joseph was a dreamer.
① When Joseph was seventeen, he had a dream.
(37:5-11) We were tying grain in the field, and my sheaf stood beside me, and your sheaf surrounded my sheaf and bowed down. (7) Joseph had a dream again, and the sun, the moon, and eleven stars appeared to me. (9) Joseph's nickname was a dreamer.
② God gives dreams.
God wants us to have dreams and He wants us to pay a price to make those dreams come true.
㉠ Philippians 2:13 “It is God who works in you, who makes you want (dreams) and act for his good pleasure.” God gives us dreams because He wants us to accomplish His will through our dreams.
㉡ Dreams are the materials that make the future. Just as God created heaven and earth with His Word, He gave us dreams to create the future. It is a person who dreams, but what makes him is the dream he is dreaming of.
㉢ Because dreams (visions) go with the Word. Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” wishing it was a dream It is believing that God has a will to do through me (Ephesians 2:10).
(3) Distinguish between dreams and ambitions.
The most common and fatal misconception we have is to confuse vision with ambition. Dreams are God-given, fulfilling God's will (Acts 13:36), and the root of ambition is desire. Possession, the desire for only things (fame, wealth, pleasure). (Teachings of Michelangelo and Btoldgiovari)
2. You have to pay the price to make your dreams come true.
A person who has a dream must have the passion to endure hardship sweetly in order to achieve that dream. A dream without payment is a delusion, and anyone who wants to achieve a dream without payment is a rogue.
① Suffering is rice.
Psalm 105:17-19 "A man, Joseph, was sent ahead of him, sold as a slave, with clothes on his feet and chains around his body, until the word of the LORD came true, and his word trained him." should get The two trials are tribulation and distress. Tribulation comes from outside. Affliction arises within me (Job 23:10).
② Be a plant with sincerity.
Joseph's life was a life of faithfulness where he did his best anytime, anywhere, and it was a life of faith with God. The master saw life with God.(2) And his life was an honest life.(9) He lived before God while being conscious of God's eyes. People with clear dreams have passion. Passion is the power of the soul. But the passion must be honesty and sincerity. Get the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the God who fears the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). Joseph was a prosperous man (Psalm 34:7).
③ Do you have passion?
Light can cut iron (laser). When you focus, passion arises. There are many roads. But life is too short to take so many roads (Roland Quibholler). Hold the plow in your hand and don't look back. Don't follow busy people, do the important things first. Iron sharpens iron. Be close to people with passion.
3. You must have eyes of faith.
① Trust in God who wants to accomplish great things through me.
When God first created man, he had a work to do, so he created man. There is a will of God to be accomplished through me (Ephesians 2:10).
② Believe in the God of Providence who is working through me.
Genesis 45:5-7 "God sent me before you to save lives." Ten years of servitude and three years of imprisonment made Joseph a man of mature faith and character.
③ Believe in God who turns evil into good.
Genesis 50:20 "You intended to harm me, but God turned it for good, to save the lives of all people, as it is today" (Romans 8:28).
