Matthew 25:1-4,14-19,31-33 The end and God's settlement
Today is the last Sunday of 2010. Every weekend, the end of the month, the end of the year, and the end of the year, we have to live with the memory of the end. The three parables that Jesus told his disciples were valuable lessons he taught them, taking as a model the life and work of Jesus Christ himself.
1. Parable of wisdom and foolishness (Jesus who is awake with the filling of the Holy Spirit)
The wedding custom of the Middle and Near East is a metaphor given in the background of the wedding culture in which ten virgins with cotton balls on poles, holding torches dipped in oil, and waiting for the groom at night. Judaism is a foolish virgin who has not prepared for the end with only religious and doctrinal poverty. When Jesus Christ was baptized, he received the Father's love and pleasure, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and was guided by the Holy Spirit in every word, work, and ministry, and pleased the Father with the Holy Spirit.
The flesh is useless, but the spirit saves. It cannot come to an end with the wisdom, experience, and power of the flesh. We will stand before God in the end when we live with the wisdom, power, and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
2. Parable of Loyalty and Lazy
3. Parable of the righteous and the unrighteous (Jesus serving the little ones)
Jesus Christ said that he did not come to be served, but to serve. Jesus Christ served the little ones in the name of the Father in order to give His life and life to many. In the parable of the good Samaritan, the priest and the Levite escaped the man who was attacked by a robber. The good Samaritan approached the robber, saved his life, and took responsibility until he was restored. Jesus Christ saved us from death and curse and served us by giving up His last life on the cross. The day of stern judgment will come when you will turn away from me, you cursed ones on the left who have not done the righteousness of service, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. He says that when I was hungry, thirsty, a stranger, naked, sick, and in prison, I did not take care of him. The righteous must obtain the righteousness of faith and the righteous life that bears witness to that righteousness in life must be manifested as fruit.
The three parables are the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ taught the disciples to show the life of faithfulness and service, filled with the Holy Spirit.
