Title: The Excellence of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ's Excellence

“He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself might have the supremacy over all things. He took pleasure in being reconciled to himself through him” (Colossians 1:18-20).

God created creation in order, and this was to serve God's purpose and glory. God created all these things beautifully. Beauty presupposes plurality. Nothing in this world exists as one. No matter how one, dismantling them is all revenge. God is not alone. You are the Trinity. And there are several tendencies within the same stomach, which are consistently flowing in one direction and have multiple tendencies. Everything that exists is made up of many different elements.

I. Giving existence to all beings with different limits

And God gave each of those beings a degree of ‘being’. Human beings were given the same level of existence as human beings, animals as animals and plants as plants in varying degrees. So, each of them fulfilled their purpose and made the world a beautiful world. In other words, each star has a different level of brightness, but it creates a beautiful universe by filling the brightness of the star it illuminates. It is beautiful to have a perfect self in accordance with God's order.

However, there are limits to humanity that God has set. It is not a problem because human beings cannot become God, but because they cannot fulfill their limits after the fall and lose their strength. It was created to communicate with God and to glorify God, but after the fall, all of it was lost. All of creation fell from the original size that God had set for him.

When man fulfills his duty and returns to the original human soul, he believes in Jesus Christ and walks the path of sanctification. Of course at the time of the cinema this will be filled and immortal soul, and this is the perfection of the world. On that last day, all creation will return to the existence God originally gave to creation, and the stars that shine brighter and the stars that shine less come in various sizes, brightnesses, and colors. It will shine. Ultimately, it is to proclaim the wisdom and glory of God who created this world beautifully. But who will shine most beautifully over all beings in the last days? That is Jesus Christ. This is the excellence of Jesus Christ.

II. Jesus Christ's Excellence

So, why is Christ superior? Jesus Christ was born into this world as a human being, with all human weaknesses and limitations. From his birth to his crucifixion, he filled the human being and possessed splendid excellence in a sinful world. By coming as a true man, he revealed that he is the most outstanding of all creation.

But that's not all. Jesus is also a God of complete divinity. This divinity has no limits, and God's existence is unbounded. Because He was God, He was infinitely full and possessed the divine nature. And Jesus hid this divinity under his flesh. It is also said in the book of Philippians. “He was in the form of God, but did not consider equality with God to be robbery, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, and being made in the likeness of men” (Philippians 2:6-7).

III. conclusion

Faith is centered on the excellence of Jesus Christ. It is the discovery of Jesus Christ as the centrality in the church as the seed of restoration. In this world, in this order and beauty, at the center of it is Jesus Christ, who is the model of man, who radiates the splendor of God, who is to be found with incomparable glory and majesty. When we look at all things, we cannot see all things properly if we cannot see the perfection of all creation and Jesus Christ, who is the standard of order. We are called to know that Christ and show it to those who do not see it. 2007-10-03
