Title: The Faithful (Psalm 101:6)

Contents What kind of person is essential to God? In the text, it is revealed that God is looking for faithful people. It is said that a certain iron man in Athens carried a lamp with it in broad daylight. He told those who asked the reason for his strange behavior that he was looking for a moral man. God earnestly exhorts our saints to become faithful ones. Not only the Old Testament poet David, but the New Testament evangelist Paul Apostle also taught us that we ought to consider us servants of Christ and entrusters of the mystery of God. And when he tells them the virtues of those who will inherit the kingdom of God, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law (Galatians 5: 22,23) said.

Note) Greek

pedo-basic verbs: to assure, analogically `reconcile, calm down, consent (with inner conviction) depend on pistis-`persuade' i.e. 'credibility', morally (of God's faithfulness to religious truth, Confidence in religious teachers, especially trust in Christ for salvation (abstract noun), 'persistence' in the profession, the system of religious (gospel) 'truth' itself in the implicated sense, loyalty (Mark 11:22, Romans 3) :3).

Pistos - The subject is 'reliable', the subject is faithful.

Then, how does a faithful person live? Let's search the Bible and think about it together.

1. He is faithful even in little things.

Matthew 25:21 says, "Good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master." This verse is an enemy declaration of the parable of the talents. He teaches us that the reason we are not faithful is that we acted as though we were given one talent as little things.

Ordinary people are frantically loyal to big things, but neglect small things. It is negligent, like wrapping a talent in a towel and burying it. But the Lord clearly asserts that . He who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and he who is unrighteous in a very little is also unrighteous in much (Tuk 16:10). Therefore, before we crave for a big job, a big responsibility, a big job, and a high position, we must fulfill our responsibilities with enthusiasm and sincerity in the small job, small responsibility, small job, and low position. Then we have hope. Because you become a loyal person, you will find yourself in God's eyes.

2. He is faithful in all things.

1 Timothy 3:11 mentions the qualifications of a deacon, one must be faithful in all things. This is the norm for the faithful. Some believers try to be faithful in church affairs, but are unrighteous in family affairs or work. On the other hand, some believers risk their lives for family and work, and run frantically about it, but they don't even touch the work of the church. Such a person is nothing but lame and loyal in every way. The life of a Christian is not easy because you have to be sincere and faithful according to your status and position at home, at church, at work, or at school. We must live like people of God, people of Christ, without neglecting any day.

3. He is faithful to the end.

In the second half of Revelation 2:10, He promised that you shall be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. This is a word that values martyrdom, that is, continuous loyalty. Some people are zealous and loyal at first in everything, but later they become indolent and even unrighteous. One-sided feelings toward the Lord disappear and we embrace two hearts. Therefore, spiritual communion with God is cut off and we cannot experience the supernatural answers that follow our prayers. (James 1:6-8) You must not become a dragon head teacher, a sparkling choir member, or an office-bearer like a pot on fire.

Like Judas Iscariot, if I forget my identity and office and go to my place, I will perish. However, like Matthias, if you follow and serve Jesus from beginning to end, the day will surely come when you will see your debt.

Wasn't Matthias one of the 12 apostles who replaced Judas Iscariot?

4. He is faithful even in adversity.

Revelation 2:13 introduces Antipas, a faithful witness. The Lord praised him that he did not forsake his faith in me even when he was put to death. Loyal people are loyal even when business goes well, when their children do well or when promotions go well, and they remain loyal even when business and children and promotions do not go well. When adversity comes, if you let go of your hands and fall into discouragement, frustration, indolence and injustice, how can you be called a faithful person? This world is like the valley of the shadow of death. However, you must be faithful to the Lord unwaveringly and steadfastly.

Then, who can be such a faithful person?

Let's think about it.

1. A person who realizes himself as a slave.

In fact, before we experienced the grace of the cross, we were slaves to sin (Romans 6:17). However, after being regenerated, we became children of God. This is called the servant of righteousness or the servant of God. A servant is a being who must be loyal to his master. Instead of being loyal slaves by violence and institutions, we must become servants who serve autonomously with gratitude and appreciation for love and grace. Moses forgot his position and status in the world and knew him as a servant of God or a servant of Christ. That is why, throughout Paul's epistles, he emphasized servant humility, servant loyalty, and servant ethics. If there is a sense of identity we can have in front of the Lord who saved and gave eternal life and blessings for sinners like me, monsters and immature people, it would be the consciousness of a servant.

2. A person who realizes himself as a debtor.

In the Old Testament times, the debtor eventually became a slave. In addition to the rituals of servants, the faithful had the rituals of debtors and debtors. The Apostle Paul said 1) It was the grace of God that made me who I am. (1 Corinthians 15:10) 2) What do you have that you did not receive? (1 Corinthians 4:7) 3) It is said that we are all debtors. (Romans 8:12) The debt of the gospel and the debt of love Not only that, but we also owe it.

A good heart to repay even one ten thousandth of this thrilling debt is what makes a faithful person.

Today, God is looking for persons and ministers who can entrust the last hour. I pray in the name of Christ that you will become faithful ones and receive the crown of life, the crown of righteousness, and the crown of glory.
