Title: The Fallen People of the Lord
Contents Bible text: Isaiah 30:15-17 Title: Your fallen people
Isaiah 30:15-17.
15 Thus says the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel:
You must turn and be quiet to be saved.
Be quiet and trust for strength, but you did not want it, 16 because you said, No, we will flee on horseback.
ye shall flee, and say, Because we made swift beasts,
Those who pursue you will be swift. 17 At one rebuke, a thousand flee; at five at the rebuke,
You will all flee, and the rest of you will be like a flagpole on the top of a mountain.
Because he said it would be like a banner on the mountaintop
* This text refers to a message of hope for a fallen people.
1. You must turn to the Lord to be saved
God has turned his back on him and left because he is merciful and merciful.
He gives opportunities to those who have fallen deep into the world.
People don't want to turn around at all.
Opportunities must be seized with certainty when given, and the choice is always
There should be no regrets.
2. Trust in the Lord gives you strength
29 He gives strength to the weary, and he gives strength to the weak. 30 Even young men grow weary and weary, and young men stumble and fall: 31 But those who wait in the Lord will find new strength.
It will be like an eagle soaring on its wings.
Even if I run, I will not get weary.
I will walk, and I will not be weary (Isaiah 40:29-31)
Therefore, in Isaiah 41:10
10 Do not be afraid; do not be dismayed, for I am with you.
I am your God, and I will strengthen you.
I will help you, indeed, my righteous
I will hold you up with my right hand."
3. The stubborn will perish.
For those who are stubborn and shut up their ears to the voice of the Lord,
no hope at all their stubbornness and unrepentant
They fall into ruin because of their heart. (Romans 2:1-11)
1 “Therefore, you who judge others, you have no excuse
For by judging others, you condemn thee, for you who judge do the same things." 2 We know that God's judgment is true to those who practice these things. 3 man,
Do you think you will escape the judgment of God?” 4 Or do you not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
Do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and long-suffering? 5 But according to your stubbornness and unrepentant heart, the day of wrath
You are storing up wrath for yourself in the day when God's righteous judgments are revealed. 6 God will reward each one for what he has done, 7 but to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory and honor and immortality, eternal life. For those who do not follow the truth but follow unrighteousness,
wrath and fury. 9 There will be tribulation and distress in the spirit of every man who does evil.
To the Jew first and then to the Greek; 10 To those who do good, glory and honor and peace.
First to the Jew, and then to the Greek. 11 For God is no respecter of persons.
