Title: The Fool/ Proverbs 19:1-6

--If you look at the text, there are many references to foolish grown-ups. Also, we usually use the word foolishness a lot in our lives. However, the Bible ignores our universal thinking about fools, and reveals who the truly foolish ones the Bible is talking about are.

Who is a fool?

##### 1. He is ignorant of God. In other words, the Bible says that those who do not know God are fools.

-- It's something you know well.

##### 2. A fool is one who blames God.

Verse 3 ... <The foolishness of man perverts his way, and in his heart he grumbles against the LORD.>

-What is the main reason for resenting God?

1) The problem of food, clothing, and shelter causes them to blame God.

The main reason the Israelites complained about God in the wilderness was that they had nothing to eat. Likewise, if we blame God for what we eat, we are foolish and foolish.

2) When you see that the unrighteous are doing well, you become resentful.

--Psalm 37:1-2...< Do not murmur over evildoers, and do not envy those who do iniquity. They will be cut down as quickly as grass, and will wither like green vegetables.

Psalm 37:7...< Be still before the Lord and wait patiently. Let him not complain because of him who prospers in his way, and who makes evil plans.>

--God prepares everything and waits for the right time.

The story of Abraham's journey to Mount Moriah with his young son Isaac is said to be the epitome of Abraham's entire life. How painful was the trip?

It was a time of anguish and anguish that came closer whenever the only son moved to death.

The Bible reveals the period of this struggle. Arrival at Mt. Moria was the "third day" after departure.

3 days 2 nights would have been longer than 230 days.

How many times must I have cried without my son knowing, and I must have stayed up two nights with my eyes open. I would have resented it, I would have doubted it, and I would have cried.

However, the Bible announces Abraham's faith as an exemplary faith in the last words of Abraham's confession of faith about this painful journey, his troubled life, and his confession.

-- asked the son. < Father! You prepared wood and fire, but how could you not prepare a lamb for sacrifice?>

Then Abraham gives the greatest answer. <God prepared it.>

--Humans don't plan, prepare, and finish everything. We worry, doubt, wander, cry and complain because we cannot finish it, but Abraham was learning the faith that God will give us the final conclusion we cannot make through the long pilgrimage.

3) Because of suffering, they resent God.

--Let's not be resentful.

##### 3. A foolish person is one who walks in the wrong way.

Verse 2: <A desire without knowledge is not good, and a person with hasty feet is wrong.>

##### 4. A foolish person is one who cannot spend money right away.

Verse 4: “Wealth adds many friends, but the poor have few friends.”

##### 5. A fool has wicked lips

Verses 5-6...< A false witness will not escape punishment, and he who tells lies will not escape. Many seek favor with a generous person, and everyone is a friend to those who love to give gifts.>

how are we Are you not a fool? Let us live a wise life.
