Title: The Foolish and the Discreet / Matthew 25

As the end drew near, Jesus often talked about the cross, resurrection, heaven, and the last days. In chapter 25, he spoke about two aspects of the saints of the last days preparing for the kingdom of heaven.

1 “Five are foolish, and five are wise” (1-13)

Jesus compared the followers of the Lord to sheep, sometimes disciples, servants, members, and brides. But among the saints, there are foolish brides and wise brides. Fools are those who have their lamps, but have no oil. That is, they are those who have the institutional form but do not have the spiritual grace of the Holy Spirit. Those who do not have repentance, prayer, love, and devotion. Those who live a life of faith without receiving grace are the most unfortunate. Because they are the ones who will not meet the Lord of the Second Coming. This is because if you do not receive grace when you receive it, you will forever miss the opportunity to meet the Lord. When we receive grace, we must receive grace (Luke 4:19, 2 Corinthians 6:2).

2 “Five talents to one, and two talents to the other… ” (14-30)

3 “I was hungry and you gave me food” (31-46)

Jesus said that his disciples, following the Lord's life and work, imitated the life and work of the Lord, give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, look after the sick, and look for the prisoners. wanted and commanded to do so. “Go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37). However, some disciples followed the Lord's command and extended their hands of compassion, love, and help, while others overlooked it and overlooked it. Those who claim to believe in Jesus and fail to extend a helping hand to the poor and sick are unfortunate. It is because you will not enjoy the reward and joy in this life and the life to come, and you will not receive praise from the Lord. The Bible in many places says that the good deeds done to people are the devotion and sacrifice done to the Lord Himself (Hebrews 13:16).
