A fool is a foolish and foolish person, and one who lives a life worse than that of an animal. Those who do not know their parents, do not know their teachers, and furthermore do not know the Creator God, who created the heavens and the earth, are fools. Even though the prophet Balaam knew that God had brought Israel out and led them to Canaan, when they invited him so much, he spoke as if he was a strict prophet, but in the end he insisted on his own will.
They are darkened by greed and go their own way even though they know the will of God.
God's will was to lead Israel to Canaan. Israel is not the children of curses, but the children of blessing and the people who are the source of blessing. It means that not only they are blessed, but God also blesses the people who bless and help them.
The church is the body of Jesus Christ that God established on this earth.
The Lord's Church is both the object of God's blessing and the channel of blessing. God strongly tells Balaam that even though they are a small and troublesome nation of Israel, He will make them the Canaanite people and lead them to the end.
When you get caught up in greed, you become a fool.
Even if you are a prophet, if you are caught up in greed, you will not be able to discern the will of God. Even if you understand the will, greed cannot keep the will of God. People today know how to live for a thousand or ten thousand years, and they become greedy and turn away from God. The way to live is to forsake greed, get out of the cave of greed, and return to God.
The way of self-obstinacy is the way of becoming desecrated, enmity with God, and ultimately destruction.
When Balaam thought about the voice of Balak and the voice of God, Balak's voice seemed much more attractive. Faith is letting go of self-restraint. The saints must abandon their greed for material things, fame, and worldly things and live a God-centered life.
Darkened by greed, he becomes a fool who cannot see even a donkey.
God shows that He is a God who opens the eyes, ears, and mouths of donkeys. Even if the saints are God's people, if they are caught up in the world's greed, they will not be able to see the ruin of their family, nor will they be ignorant because they do not know or see God's will.
Balaam's repentance was not a genuine repentance and repentance, but a temporary turn.
He ignores God's repeated giving of opportunity. God through the donkey! Through the messengers of God! He gives us a chance.
