Title: The Gentleman's Secret

Genesis 13:1-18
Today I want to think about generosity. I believe that faith must be manifested in person. It is very unbiblical to think of faith and character separately. That guy has a good faith, but his temper is a bit dirty! Does it make sense? A person who is immature in faith has an arbitrary character. Maturity in faith is meant to be expressed in maturity of character. But today's text deals with the issue of meekness and generosity.
In the text, Abram and his nephew Lot appear, and Abram appears as a yielder and a considerate person. Our God is very generous. But we are a little less generous. thinking is narrow. If the room in your heart is small, people will come in and you will not be able to rest. We fight well because we are in a hurry. What is the first rule after a traffic accident? Speak out loud, subdue the steamer, who's at fault is a later question. Get angry and look at these things. So, how can God use this urgent nation to become a world-class missionary nation? Seeing that people in urgent need are being used for world missions, I think that God is also in a hurry.
If you look at today's words, you will think that Abram has become very relaxed, generous, and broadened his mind. But if you look closely, it is quite different from when Abram first came to Canaan in chapter 12 and then went to Egypt due to famine. Before, there was a lot of impatience and fear in his appearance. When there was a famine, I immediately thought I was in trouble. Also, looking at his wife Sarai, there was an obsessive notion that the Egyptians would take her away. If I do this, I may die!
Even if you have faith, if that faith is young and weak, you will not be able to overcome any adversity. In chapter 12, Abram has faith. However, with that belief, he cannot afford to deal with his problems in peace and leisurely manner. hastily
